Music: Another guy - second thoughts (I might've done this song already lol idk, but i thought it would be fitting for this part)
Time skip to a week later:
"HEYYYYY BIG Q" I squeezed my arms around him
"NOOO I THOUGHT ONLY TOMMY CALLED ME THAT"
"I won't just felt right to say it today. Also, you're pretty short"
"Yea fuck you Sol you're like 4'5"
"I'M LIKE 2 INCHES SHORTER THAN THE NATIONAL AVERAGE THAT'S LIKE THIS MUCH" I pinch my fingers to about an inch instead of two.
"Ok that is not 2 inches and I AM THE NATIONAL AVERAGE SO YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO SPEAK"
"Cry about it you're still short but Karl should be here soon."
"Ok don't try to switch the topic on me."
"But aren't you excited to see your fiancée?"
"Yea but it's fun to make fun of you too" He smiles and looks down.
"BOO" A voice comes behind Alex
"Don't ever try to scare me again, it doesn't work"
"Please at least pretend that you're excited to see me" Karl giggles and punches his arm.
"Yea it is nice to see you man"
Karl squeezes between us too and wraps his arm around both our shoulders.
"Are you trying to make fun of our heights?"
"No not at all, you guys just make nice arm rests"
"Ok that's it" Alex tackles Karl to the ground
"YOU GIVE BABY PUNCHES. You gonna help me out here, Sol?" Karl yells
"No I just love watching two grown men fight"
"Nope you're joining" He pulls me into the pile.
"NO STOP TICKLING I CAN'T BREATHE I'M - I'M GON..NA KEEEELL YOUUU" I scream.
I manage to leave the pile and the boys just collapse on the couch. I sit down a good foot away from them to be cautious.
"Well welcome to North Carolina... home of the boring and Mr. Beast" I say.
We stare at the ceiling for a few seconds until I stand up.
"Well I guess you guys can settle in here and I'll come back later maybe we can eat dinner and idk play board games"
"Sure" Alex stand up second, and yawns, "I'm tired anyway"
"Okay see ya Sol," Karl stands up and gives me a kiss.
"Bye guy-" I start to head out the door but get interrupted.
"FUCKING WHAT?" Alex yells.
"What? What's wrong?"
"WHAT DO YOU FUCKING MEAN 'wHaTs WrOnG?' YOU CAN'T KISS IN FRONT OF ME AND NOT EXPECT ME TO REACT. ARE YA'LL DATING OR SOMETHING?"
"Oh yeaaaa... forgot to mention that, KARL WILL FILL YOU IN!" I quickly strut out the door laughing.
