I wrote this story on JULY  1  2019 ,Please note this are my old Stories. I even cringed when reading them because a lot of grammatical errors are there and typos error 🤩🤩🤩 but trust me , they are all very educative. " I just finished taking my bath after arranging the house  and my cramps are not helping the matters at all. Yes am on my monthly flow but I dare not sit down when the food is not yet ready, he gonna be back anytime soon and I think there is still a fresh wound at my back which he gave me by hurting my back with a hot iron Just because I coughed when he was talking to me so am not ready for any injury now.

" I checked the yam on the fire to see if is done so I can add palm oil and some other ingredients to it because he  told me he  want porridge for dinner and that's his  favorite food but I think because am on my monthly flow the Yam refused to get done on time.

" I keep begging the yam to be done on time as if it is a person because he is gonna be back soon.

" I look like a mad woman pacing up and down and checking the yam every minute to see if it's done when I heard a car drive in.

" Just the heard of the horn make me loose concentration and I didn't know when the hot spoon on the pot fell on my leg.

" Ouch! I yelled in pain turning around like a cock who is about to die.

" I was still trying to regain myself when I heard a knock on the door,  am in trouble I said within me shivering as I picked up the spoon back and quickly went to open the door.

" I was about to get out of the kitchen when the person knock again and  this time I nearly piss on my body because I know am in for another punishment.

"This time am already sweating profusely, I quickly walked to the door with my hand shivering on the door handle.

" I inhale in and exhale out closing my eyes as I  open the door to take in whatever am gonna receive either a blow or a thunderous slap that will make me deaf for 5mins.

" I open the door with my eyes closed expecting either the two but I wasn't receiving anything and Is been thirty minutes have been standing but nothing happened.

" Has he changed ? Is he not the one? Why am I not receiving my daily bread ? This are  all the thought going on in mind with my eyes closed.

" I opened one of my eye to see what was going on and I almost got an heart attack and my eyes widened to see my best friend Jarvis after eleven years standing in front of me with his arm akimbo.

"Jarvis! What the hell are you doing here ? I asked him with mixed feelings because I can't say am happy or sad.

" He didn't reply me,  he just kept staring at me like a mannequin and am getting pissed off already.

" I guess you don't really have nothing to do , when you are done the gate is open for you I said and rolled my eyes angrily and was about to close the door on him when he break the silence.

" When is this going to stop Angel? Look at you, should  I tell you what you look like? You like a Mad woman he said with a  sad tone and I didn't know when a tear drop from my eyes.

" Are you going to allow me inside or are you not thought how to treat guest  Big Eyes he said making me chuckle.

" he likes calling me big eyes since our university days and if I  asked him why he was calling me that because the last time I checked my eyes aren't too big or too small then he will say because my eyes always drive him crazy anytime he is looking at me so he need to give it a ugly name to confuse himself .

"You ain't serious at all I said to him as we both laugh.

" Can I come In now? He asked staring into my eyes .

"Am... am... sorry you can't I said this time with teary eyes.

" I didn't want to believe when your mum tell me everything but I guess they are all true now.

" Jarvis you... really... need... to... go now,  he is gonna be back soon,  I will call you once am at my mum's place I said as hot tears streamed down my eyes.

" What! This is not the Angel I knew, so this motherfucker was actually beating you, Hell no !am not gonna leave here until I kill him said Jarvis angrily as he hit his fist on the wall.

"No... no... no...  I said with my lips trembling you can't do that Jarvis, if you love me as you always say you will go now I said as I wipe my tears with the back of my palm.

" Please am begging you, leave now I said because I know what he is capable of doing.

"He doesn't deserve you Angel, you don't deserve this kind of treatment and for the first time a tear drop from his eyes as he turn his back to leave.

" I sigh thanking God he left even though it break my heart to see him like that because of me.

"I was about to head inside when he suddenly called my name Angel!

"I looked back this time saying what did he want again when he said you are stained and that's when it hit me that I haven't put on a tampon after taking my bath.

"He walk closer to me with worried face,  you will never change he said and hold my dress with the tips of his finger showing how I got my dress drenched with blood.

" Is okay Jarvis am going to change once am inside I said and smile at him and thought he  hasn't  changed at all .

"I raised my head up staring at him while he  was still showing me how I ruined my dress when I sight my worse nightmare standing akimbo looking at us.

"I wanted to talk but he put his hand on his lips indicating me to shut up .

" Am in for it this night , At last Jarvis ended up putting me in trouble.
