ANGELINA POV
" I felt a lips on my neck, kissing me and I moaned, this is the first time we make love not sex and I must say I really enjoyed it.
" Good morning sunshine! he said as I open my eyes, he kissed me lightly on my lips before I sit up and I almost fainted when I saw a small tray with food set before me.
" Breakfast in bed"! Oh my God I said as I covered my mouth with tears swelling up in my eyes.
" Don't blame me, this is the first time am served in bed, you won't want to know how have been craving for this, i could remember how my friends used to gist me how their boyfriend served them in bed and its romantic .
"Common babe, stop crying he said and wipe my tears with his finger, thanks for accepting to spend the rest of your life with me he said and kissed me deeply while I moan into his mouth.
" I love you he said as we parted.
" I love you too , i whispered as he kissed my forehead.
"Common babe, eat up he said smiling.
" I ate my breakfast while he was staring at me.
" We are visiting your parents later in the day he said and I almost choked on the food in my mouth.
" Uhm.. ! I said as my eyes widen, why is he full of surprises this morning, he never allow me to go and visit my parents since we start dating 4yrs ago. I was only entitled to call them when he is not around.
" Angel ! he called my name as I snapped out of my thoughts.
" Yes dear "I said faking a smile, I wanted to ask him why all this years he is letting me visit my parents but am afraid he might change his mind if I say so.
" Eat your food is gonna be cold, let me go take my shower while you eat he said and head to the bathroom.
" God please this is the type of Damon I want I said and continue eating my food.
" We set to leave in the afternoon to my parents house, all through our drive he was just cracking jokes which makes me laugh till I start crying.
" He stopped at a nearby supermarket and brought a lot of things for my parents and continue our drive.
"We are here? he said and I looked at the building I haven't seen for the past 4 years, Let's give them a surprise he said and winked at me before going out and coming to open my side for me.
" Why is he behaving as if he had a good relationship with him, am nervous but he is not at all.
"Thanks I said as I got out, he kissed me lightly on lips before closing the car door.
" He brought the gifts he brought for my parents at the back of the booth and he wrapped his arms around my waist, before we started walking in.
" I knocked on the door and my Dad opened the door, he was so surprised to see me.
Dad! I said trying to control the tears swelling up in my eyes.
" Is this you Angel! he said and hugged me tightly , he was about to say something when he saw Damon behind me.
"Good Afternoon sir " Damon quickly said and prostrate.
"Afternoon "My Dad murmured and his facial expressions changed.
" Come in he said and ushered us in.
" I dropped the gifts Damon brought for them on the center table. "Where is mum, I asked him as i got inside, she is in the bedroom sleeping he said and sat down.
"This time Damon has already sat down pressing his phone while my dad was giving him the weird stare but he seems to care less.
" How is she sleeping in a broad daylight I asked feeling concerned.
" Go inside and check for yourself my dad said sarcastically.
" I quickly head inside the bedroom, I met my mum lying down and I pity her.
" Mum! I called her name trying not to cry or allow the tears in my eyes to drop.
" Angel! Is this you she said as she quickly get down from the bed to hug me.
" The moment she hugged me, we both burst into tears, for my mom is tears of joy and for me is mixed feelings.
" How have you been? Hope that bastard is not beating you again? You are so lean, I hope you are eating very well? This are the questions she keeps asking me as we parted and I don't know which one to answer.
"Mum.... Can you let's sit down first I said as I gestured for her to sit on the bed while I sat beside her.
" First of all, why are you sleeping in this broad daylight?" is so unusual of you I said feeling worried.
" Am a little bit sick and I took some drugs that's why said my Mum.
" Why didn't you called me Mum? I would have send money to you so you can go to the hospital to get yourself treated.
" Is not something serious and moreover who knows if that Demon is around said my Mum Angrily.
" Mum! I said and let out a laugh because of how she normally refers to Damon as Demon.
" Let's put that aside, how did you got here because I don't really understand, I hope the son of a bitch has divorced you said my mum.
" No Mum, we came together I said looking into her eyes.
" What! (Smirks) I hope he is alright today.
" I ....came to.. tell ..you.....that am engaged I said showing her my fingers so she can spot the engagement ring.
" What! Angel you have kill....... she couldn't complete her sentence as she start holding her chest groaning in pain.
" Mum! Mum.....What's wrong I said and move closer to her.
"Why are you holding your...... I wasn't able to complete my sentence as she falls heavily on the floor.
