" Am so sorry to say MA,  I can't leave my Dad in this position, you know am his only daughter and nobody will be there to take of him since my Mom is dead I said trying to hold back my tears.

" (Laugh ) you must be kidding me Angel! Is your Dad a toddler that you want to babysit because I don't really understand what you are saying Said Damon's mum.

" MA! You know...... she didn't allow me complete my sentence before interrupting me .

" Stop this nonsense Angel! She half yelled at me. If your dad is lonely he should go get a wife to take of him , don't you want to get married or is it your dad that will marry you She said angrily and walk away.

" I cried my eyes out when she left and I think am starting to regret ever getting engaged to their son.

" I was still trying to reminisce what's happening in my life when I saw Damon and his parents leave in his car leaving me behind.

" His mum was uttering something but I couldn't hear her because they are far away from me.

" I looked at them until they were out of my sight as uncontrollably tears flow freely down my eyes.

" I was given a ride by one of the sympathizer home, if not for them I would have trekked home .

" They dropped me off in front of the house, I got down and thank them before they zoomed off.

" I met my dad sitting outside with his head bow down as I approached him .

" Dad! I called his name as I sat beside him on the bench.

" Angel you need to pack your loads and go and meet your fiance he said with his head still down.

" What! You must be kidding me Dad, Am not going anywhere for now I said angrily.

" Be quick because your fiance will soon be  here anytime soon  to pick you up he said and stood up and I could see a tear drop from his eyes as he went inside.

" Dad! Dad!!! I called him and went after him.

" Dad! You need to tell me the truth today because I don't really understand why these people are controlling us I said Angrily with tears as we got inside.

" You won't understand Angel, just do as I say he said this time laying on the couch his turning his back at me.

" I really need to understand Dad! Why did  You and mum just sold me off to strangers  like I don't really have a say in my life.

" Did you know what hell I went through every blessed day in Damon's hand.

" This is so unfair, You guys are just keeping me in the darkness for the past four years I stated with hot tears streaming down my eyes.

" Dad! Turn your face to me I said shaking him on the couch so he can look at me because I knew he is crying that's why he is not saying anything.

" He turn to look at me and I could see that his eyes  are red shot, he cupped my face in his palms looking into my eyes.

" My daughter, forgive me for having a useless Dad like me he said and wipe away my tears with his thumb.

" Something's are just better left unsaid , I know how much you resent me and your mother but trust us, we too are not happy .

" Babe am here we heard Damon voice outside.

" I quickly wiped my tears while my Dad quickly lay down pretending to be asleep before he came inside.

" Hi sweetheart he said not minding my Dad on the couch and gave me a peck.

" Common let's go, this old man needs some space to mourned his darling wife he said mockingly  referring to my Dad.

" I haven't packed my loads yet , can you please give me a few minutes.

" What! You must be kidding me he half yelled at me.

" Just give me a few......... he didn't allow me complete my sentence as he gave me a hot slap and I fell on top of my Dad .
