Illumi seated himself over the altitude of the high cliff, his legs dangling off over the spectacular height. The curtain of inky hair brushes past his broad shoulders, as the scenery of the blooming sun sets itself over the view.
His dark eyes reflect the image a smidge, capturing the deep magentas, oranges, yellows, pinks, and peeking blues flourishing in the sky. He soothingly watches the sight, outlooking each and every detail of the shadows and highlights of the passing fluffy clouds. The golden orbs intricately embedded in his viridescent suit don't hesitate in displaying individual mirroring pictures of the blossoming sun making it's way up into the morning sky.
The skilled assassin, ravenous from the completion of yet another mission, takes this free opportunity to satisfy himself with the luxury of nourishment, and pulls out a certain sweet, fleshy yellow fruit. He holds the base of it with the left hand, the other paring away the rind of the slightly ripened crescent-shaped pulp.
Atop the surface of steep rock grows the occasional shrubs and weeds, occupying in attempts to fill the vast space of rubble and gravel, invading the smooth surface of the plain. Some bushes, if mother nature provides, sprout from the area as well, but few survive the harsh conditions. And yet those sole flowers, however, seemed to perfectly enjoy the conditions of shaded ridges in the sediment. Illumi turns to scan the layers surrounding, and finds the peculiar colour of the fuchsia petals as recognizable.
A small smirk curls from the edge of his lips when he's reminded of that certain someone.
He lifts his right arm to take a small bite out of the peeled banana, and lets himself lean against the force of the light, chilly breeze carrying his multiverse of thoughts away. This was definitely a rare moment of loosening up, as his responsibilities chiefly burdened and dominated any brief periods of leisure time.
Crumbling and grinding of minerals is heard from afar, and Illumi raises a pointed brow to turn around and affirm his guess of who had intruded his alone time. Of course, a family member of the elite Zoldycks was always alert of their surroundings, never letting their guard down.
The infamous colleague of Illumi's takes their time to gradually make their way over to the edge of the cliff. The same man who thoroughly fit the description of a jester from unique clothing to unusual hair tint, dressed in card suits with a painted face of a tear droplet and star.
"Why, hello~" the magician towers over the sitting Illumi, so the man in green turns back to continue his sky gazing, reassured by the presence of an ally. He gingerly takes another bite of his soft fruit.
"Hello." was all that escaped the assassin's lips, as he continues to chew the mush in his mouth into bolus.
A moment of silence is exchanged between the two, not long before the purplish-red haired man lounges himself next to the warmth of the Zoldyck.
Hisoka watches his younger from the side, intently waiting as if expecting more intimacy in return.
"Beautiful view, isn't it~" the harlequin is now a mere foot away sitting, and he too fiddles with an item in his hand: a deck of playing cards. The cards have had a history of shuffling, curving, stacking, and flying through the air to claim its next victim. Yes, his weapon consisted of these mere, thin pieces of paper. He playfully flings a suit over the cliff, only for it to be pulled back into his hand with the use of that invisible nen string he so often used.
"So, what are your plans from here on out?~" the silky voice of Hisoka's hums to to Illumi. Illumi thinks for a moment, and proceeds to take another bite.
"I'll wait."
"For?~"
"My Kill to become stronger. He'll come home in time. For now, I'll continue what I've always done best."
Hisoka lets out an exaggerated exhale. "Well~ my place is vacant and company would be nice once in a while~"
The receiver of the offer ponders about it. "Mother wouldn't be thrilled. But I guess it couldn't hurt to sleep." Illumi recalls the last time. "6 days if I'm correct. My body is rather drained."
"That's not what I meant-"
"If you insist, so be it."
Hisoka chuckles at him while shaking his head, and tilts it up to watch the sun now fully over the skyline, welcoming the beginning of a new day.
A sudden brawny limb decorated with armbands wraps around Illumi's waist, and Illumi jerks a bit to this affectionate action, almost dropping his fruit over the substantial elevation. He turns to glare at his joker-appearing partner, and receives a cheeky grin in return.
"Aw, your porcelain face is too adorable to take seriously~" the magician smirks, and Illumi lets himself slacken his muscles from his tensed response.
"This face also speaks the desire to kill you right here right now if you don't let go within 5 seconds"
"Ohh so feisty~" Hisoka raises his arms up in mock surrender, and places his hands in his lap. "But you won't mind if I~"
He presses a slender, pointed finger on Illumi's mouth, and the assassin contorts his face into a quizzical expression.
Hisoka's soft, pale lips are moistened with the flicking of his tongue, and he briskly leans over to wrap his oral cavity over half of the remaining fruit held in Illumi's grip. He pulls back up, a trail of saliva connecting his mouth to the banana, and briefly twirls his tongue over the circumference of the fruit, roughly going back down to accidentally break a piece off. He pulls back up and teasingly smiles at Illumi, brushing away the small amount of saliva that has dribbled down his chin with the pad of his thumb. Illumi glares back at him as Hisoka swallows the chunk in one large gulp, and tosses the banana peel in Hisoka's lap.
"I will be taking my leave now." He straightens himself up and dusted off the dirt from his pants. Illumi revolves to abandon the location, but turns to call out to Hisoka.
"I thought we were heading to your residence" his cheeks now blushing a slight rosy pink.
