Y/n POV
I woke up to a nice Saturday morning with breakfast ready at the table; Waffles with whipped cream and syrup topped with strawberries. Jin was always a good brother to me because he knows my favorite meals to make me on Saturday mornings. Waffles are my favorite!
I heard some noises outside but did not think much of it until I looked out the window. There were police cars around the house next door. I never thought anything of it and headed to the table.
"Y/n, breakfast is ready, come and- oh I see you already made your way down here. Did your stomach just tell you I was making your favorite meal?" Jin stated.
"I guess so, Jinnie. Breakfast looks so yummy, I could eat it all right this very moment!" I replied.
I sat at the dinner table, just waiting for my plate to be served in front of me so I could devour it. I was hungry from last night that I needed this breakfast.
We sat at the dinner table chatting and ranting about random stuff when the news came onto the T.V. My brother being the protective type, had to turn it on while we were eating.
This is CNBC News Channel here to report a 21-year-old college student by the name of Stuart Stevenson was found dead in the woods late at night.
Researchers and police both say he died from an animal attack. Stuart's body shows he has a huge bite on the neck. His jugular was dry of blood. Further investigation will not be necessary for the situation.
"Hey, Y/n? Wasn't that a kid that lived around here somewhere?" Jin asked. Now that I realized, yes they did live around here. In fact, they lived right across the street. They were the ones who were being noisy last night and that was the reason I couldn't fall asleep. Poor guys, even though they were annoying, they didn't deserve to die.
"Yeah, they went to my school. Poor guys. Even though they were obnoxious, they did not deserve to die. At least we do not have to deal with their loud parties anymore!" I joked, trying to make the situation better.
"Yeah, but it is a shame they died. I wonder what animal came to attack him. What if it was a vampire!" Jin stated.
"You know very well vampires are not real, Jinnie! Now hurry up and let's eat. After all, it is Sunday, and we need to do some shopping before school tomorrow!" I stated.
After eating our breakfast, I went upstairs to take a shower. The hot water was streaming down my face as I was washing my hair. I grabbed my loofa and soaped it all up, getting ready to wash my body. As I was washing it, I felt a stinging pain in my thigh. "Aish! That hurts!" I yelled. My brother probably heard me. I almost forgot that I got hurt yesterday in the woods. At least it is healing more than it normally would. And I never even used medicines or herbs to help me.
As I was done with my shower, I grabbed my robe from the door where I hung it up and walked into my bedroom, locking the door so I could get dressed. I grabbed my undergarments, some ripped jeans, and a crop top. I slipped on my shoes before walking out of my bedroom and back into the bathroom, so I could fix my hair before going to the store.
I was brushing my hair and as I laid the brush down, Jin hollered at me. "Y/n! C'mon, let's go. We do not have all day to get ready if we are only going to the store."
"I just got done, let me grab my phone and I will head downstairs!" I yelled back, making sure he heard me.
I walked back into my bedroom and grabbed my phone, making sure I did not forget anything before walking downstairs and leaving the house.
