Twenty-Five

Ryleigh was still sat next to Clay when her stomach clenched, making her feel nauseous. She sat for a moment hoping the feeling would go away. The longer she sat the worse it got.

Ryleigh sprinted up the stairs, quickly, as soon as she felt vomit rise to the back of her throat. She locked herself in the closest bathroom and emptied her stomach.

Tears slipped down her cheeks as she leaned up against the wall next to the toilet. Her throat burned and her head throbbed. She pulled out her phone to check the date.

December 8th, 2020

She sighed as she realized why she was throwing up. She was starting her period within the next few days.

A knock sounded at the door. She opened the door and watched Niki walk in.

"Hello love, i figured you'd want a girl to comfort you instead of a boy for once." Ryleigh laughed and nodded.

"Very much so." She replied, leaning on Niki's shoulder.

"Are you sick?" Niki asked, dragging her finger's through the girl's long, dark hair.

"I start my period soon." She mumbled, almost as if she were embarrassed.

"Did you bring stuff? if not i have some. I should start mine soon as well." Niki said in a soft tone. The girl nodded, her eyes fluttering shut from exhaustion and pain.

"Why don't you take a hot shower for however long. I'll inform everyone that you just feel a little sick, probably from your medication on an empty stomach, and that you would like to be left alone for a while. Deal?"

"Yeah, but only Tubbo and obviously Ranboo since we share a room can enter the forbidden of my room. And you, thats it." She replied. Niki giggled and turned on the shower for the girl while helping her stand.

"My periods are really bad, i apologize in advance." She spoke to Niki.

"No worries love! I totally understand." Niki smiled. "I'll put some clothes and a blanket in the dryer for you for when you get out. That okay?" Ryleigh nodded and hugged Niki tightly.

"Thank you, Niki."

"No problem." The girl replied before letting the younger girl alone. Ryleigh sighed and stripped herself of her clothing. She stepped into the shower and allowed the heat to warm her body. She sat down for a while, just letting the steam and the hot water run over her skin. After a while she cleansed herself and stopped the hot water.

She opened the curtain and stepped out of the shower, proceeding to wrap a towel around her body. She peaked into her room to find it vacant and saw a few things sitting on her bed.

Ryleigh locked the bedroom door and changed into the now warm clothes. A pair of baggy sweatpants she'd stolen from Tubbo years ago and a hoodie from Tommy she stole on the trip. Ryleigh wrapped the warm blanket around her after changing and doing as she needed.

Ryleigh played a movie on her laptop within the darkening room.

"Leigh? Can i come in?" Tubbo asked softly. She hummed in response and he walked in. The girl paused her movie and moved over some so Tubbo could fit on the bed with her. He sat down and she immediately laid her head on his abdomen and hugged him.

"You alright?" She nodded softly at his caring demeanor. "You sure?" She nodded once again and started fidgeting with his shirt.

The pair sat in comforting silence. Tubbo knew exactly how to lull her to sleep, having done it since they were six years old.

"WHERE'S BIG MAN TUBBO?!" Tommy yelled from the living room.

"Hey Tubbo, Tommy needs you." Ranboo said quietly as he entered his room.. Tubbo nodded and sighed.
