We were driving down the crowded interstate, when my phone rang. I am extremely against phones while driving so I got Lilly to tell me who it is.

"It's Jackson!! But, why is he calling at.....10 at night?" She exclaimed, throwing me off and making me almost crash.

"I don't know, but listen to me closely before you answer the phone. We can NOT tell Jackson that we are going to the wedding. We both know he's a terrible liar and he'd accidentally tell Eliza. Got it?" I said, as stern as possible. I guess you could tell that I wasn't used to being in charge.

"Ok I promise I won't." she answered, whie pressing the 'talk' button on my phone.

"Hello? Oh hey Jackson....No she's driving....We're going to..umm...a party! Yeah for one of our friends, friends, cousins' house party....No you don't them...Her name is....Berkawitz.....No i'm not lying, how dare you!!...Oh you're getting married?.....No I didn't even know....Oh really?....Ok well I hope you have fun.....send us pictures!...Wait, why are you marrying her then?...Ok i'll put it on speaker." She replied. They have the strangest conversations over the phone.

"Hey Ash-Cash!" Jackson said through the phone. Goodness, I missed his voice.

"Hey Jack-Jack, what's going on?" I said, trying not to sound too nervous. He was still my best friend, so I tried hard not to sound scared. But it's not everyday that you drive 65 miles to the countryside to crash your best friend's wedding because you're in love with him.

"Well, I have something important to tell you" He stuttered, knowing that I might be mad. It just took over me that he never even told me he was engaged! What kind if best friend is he!?! Well i guess his evil bride-to-be forbid him to talk to me.

"Yeah, what's up?" I turned out onto the street again. we were only like 25 minutes away from the hotel we were staying at.

"Well, umm..I'm getting married...to Eliza" He answered, scared of what my reaction may be.

"Really? Wow, that's crazy!" I said, using my best acting skills and trying to act like I don't know anything.

"But there's a problem...you and Lilly aren't invited" I could tell that he was nervous again.

"Well, I know that we don't really.....get along with her so I see why" I was actually getting mad at the fact that she would go this far. She needs to get over herself and become an adult.
