TAISSA P.O.V

Right now it's 2:45.

The dismissal bell rang about ten minutes ago, and I need to get out of this place fast. Ed texted me after lunch saying I needed to be at the stadium by 3:45 for sound check, so I need to basically run to my house to get ready.

I can't believe the time is so close!! I am having a mental meltdown because there are going to be so many people here tonight. Madison Square Garden has a seating capacity of 18,200, and Ed has a  sold out show. Yikes.

Quickly, I shove my books into my bag and run out the front door of the school. It's kind of chilly outside today, but I don't have time to talk about the weather. I check my phone to see it' now 3:07.

"UUUGGGHHH," I put my phone back into my pocket and start sprinting down to street. I have absolutely no chill right now. Ed Sheeran needs me, so it's no or go.

Without thinking, I begin to run across the street until being interrupted by a car horn. I jump at the near contact, and trip on the rubber on my shoes. I hear the car's driver door open, and feel someone crouch down to meet my height.

"OH MY GOSH ARE YOU OKAY!? I DIDN'T HIT YOU RIGHT??? OH NO NOW IM GOING TO JAIL AND MY MO-"

"DUDE!" I blurrt out to shut the guy up before looking at him. It's... Luke?

"Luke?" I really should stand up right now, but I almost like how close he is to me.

"Oh my gosh, Taissa. I am so sorry about that. I wasn't paying attention an-"

" No, it's my fault. I wasn't even paying attention," I was a little bit surprised on how concerned he is, considering the way he acted about my irresponsibility on the first day of school. But now he's acting kinda sweet with his worriedness on how I almost got killed on my way to my house so I could change for---

"CRAP,"  I let out in realization of where I need to be.

"What? What's wrong?" I stand up quickly and brush myself off.

"Nothing, I just really need to be somewhere right now."

" Let me drive you."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"Fine." I gave into the offer considering I had about 10 minutes to get ready.

Luke and I got in his black Hummer, and he plugged my address into his GPS.

"So, are you gonna tell me where you're going."

I look ove at him, "Home?''

"So, you're rushing that fast to get home?" He keeps his hands on the wheel and eyes locked on the road.

"No,I have other places to be, and I would very kindly appreciate it if you stepped on the gas a bit more," He drives too slow for my personal preference, and I neED TO GET TO MSG!!!

"Nope. not gonna happen until you tell me where you're going."

"Why do you care?"

"I don't, just curious," he turns his head to give me a smirk.

" A um... uh show," I drag on the last word.

"A show? Care to define?" I look down at my hands to play with my shirt sleeves.

"Just Ed Sheeran," I shake my head and look up at him. He suddenly shoots a strange look towards me and that's when I remember him saying something about Ed at lunch. Wait? He's not going to the show is he!?

"You're seeing Ed Sheeran!? So am I," --oh no-- , "but I don't understand. The concert isn't until 7:00, so why are you in such a hurry?"

" TURN RIGHT IN 3 YARDS "

The GPS tells Luke to turn into my driveway. Before I can answer his question, I thank him for the ride, and run in my house.

I get dressed in lightning speed and look at the time. 3:39. NOOO!!!!

I run down the steps, grab my guitar, car keys, and make my way to MSG.

I'm currently sitting with Ed in his dressing room while his opening act performs. I got here at around 4:20 something, but Ed said it was fine because we only have to do one song.

" So, are you ready?" he scoots closer and faces me on the couch.

" Yes and no. I just feel like... I honestly don't know what to feel right now. I mean I'm about to do the performance of a lifetime in like 2 hours. It's just incredible." I smile at the end of my sentence to show my appreciation and joy for the opportunity.

" You are going to do so good tonight. I was talking to Taylor earlier, and she's having one of her friends facetime her our performance tonight. She says good luck by the way," he giggles and I tag along.

"That's awesome. Plus, I get to rise up from the stage in that elevator-thingy."

"Yes, how could I forget about the elevator thingy," both of us burst into a storm of giggles.

"Ed, it's time," Ed's stage manager, Brian, interrupts our laughing session. Ed stands up, and takes my hand in his before kissing the back of it.

"See you soon, babe."

I simply smiled, "See you soon."

It's all become so realistic now.

I'm currently crouched under the catwalk of Ed's stage, with a pit in my stomach, waiting for my own ressurection.

I feel like all my life I've been doing nothing. I've been dead... For the past years of what feels like forever, I've been playing in my room alone, but that all changes now.

I can feel the adrenaline pumping through my veins, and I want to get on with it.

Ed is giving me an introduction, but I can't hear a single thing.

All noises and drowned out by screams of excitement and bliss.

I love it.

Suddenly, the platform beneath me begins to rise. I straighten my back as I go up through the stage.

When I reach the top I'm greeted with the most beautiful sight I've ever seen:

A galaxy full of cell phone flash lights and screaming fans.

This is where I belong.
