Hesong snorted angrily as several dragon soldiers fell to the ground from the fire sent by taehyung. Wasting no time, he started attacking taehyung back with his soldiers. Even from afar, anyone could see the northern sky glowing with flames. All the surrounding houses and trees were on fire. Tehyung deftly dodged the fire aimed at him and counterattacked. But with jungkook on his back, taehyung couldn't focus on the war. He realized that if vantae was even one second late, jungkook on his back would be in danger. He couldn't risk jungkook's life. He must protect both his empress and his little one.

"As soon as I hit the ground, you get off and hide among the boulders.. got it?" Jungkook hummed, he was so scared as he watched the dragons fight in the flames.

Taehyung waited for the right moment and put jungkook down and gaurded him until he hide between the rocks.

Then taehyung returned to the battlefield with ease. But unbeknownst to him, someone else approached jungkook slowly. Taehyung and vante fought brilliantly, sometimes sending an antidote to the fireballs that were aimed at him, and sometimes jumping out of those fireballs.

He spread his wings and leapt into the air. Hesong's dragons breathed fire at him, but he kept flying towards them. Taehyung dived down and dodged a fireball. Again he flew upwards and breathed fire at tge dragon. It hit his wing and knocked him off balance and dragged him to the ground.

One of the dragon soldiers shot scarlet fire towards taehyung and he dodged left and swept down and managed to fly back up. The dragon flew towards taehyung with a prepared blast in his mouth. But taehyung managed to burn him first.

In about an hour, taehyung was able to destroy all the dragons of hesong. By then, hesong realized that taehyung was the most powerful of them all. He regretted not coming with a large army.

Hesong growled angrily at taehyung and breathed out a scarlet flame. Taehyung snorted back and breathed fire at his feet. Hesong seethed and dashed after taehyung who flew higher up. Taehyung saw hesong flying after him. After flying up for a few more seconds, taehyung suddenly turned around and started flying back towards hesong, taking him aback and breathed fire at him. Hesong landed on the ground and snarled before breathing fire at taehyung. But as taehyung jumped into the air, the fire hit the ground right where he was standing.

Taehyung turned to hesong to shot a blast at him. But jennie's voice came up, interrupting taehyung. At that moment, the royal soldiers led by general namjoon also arrived. But everyone was frozen when they saw their empress in jennie's hold for the second time.

Vantae roared so loudly, shaking the ground. Jennie laughed out loud, enjoying his reaction.

"Looks like your empress is pregnant." Jennie tried to put her hand on jungkook's belly, but jungkook slapped her hand away, making jennie's jaw clench in anger.

"This time neither your jungkook nor you nor your unborn child will be able to survive, taehyung. This time you will be defeated." Jennie pressed the dagger in her hand against jungkook's neck as vante's and taehyung's eyes widen with fear.

"Jennie stop that! Don't do anything to him!!!" Taehyung tried to breath fire at her, but hesong breathed fire at him, so taehyung had to fly upwards to escape. Hesong then began to strike back, weakening taehyung. He was exhausted after fighting the entire dragon army alone and knowing that Jungkook was in danger messed up his head causing him to lose his rational thinking. He was suffering physically and mentally.

Jungkook struggled to escape from jennie's hold because he sensed that taehyung was not in his right mind and he feared that it would endanger taehyung's life. But her grip was very tight and the dagger was pressed against his neck so that he couldn't do it.
