Wedding night (part1)

After the wedding and coronation ceremony, everyone attended the royal banquet. In the evening all the guests left and the usual calm atmosphere filled the palace again.

"Don't cry, baby.. we'll be back to see you." King Jin said, stroking jungkook's hair who was weeping in his mother's arms. They were not happy to leave their little prince, but they had no choice.

"Don't worry princess, we are here for you." Emperor yoongi said with great affection for the princess.

"Your Majesty, do you mind if I leave her personal bodyguard hoseok and her best friend tzuyu with her?" King jin asked hesitantly.

"You don't have to worry about the princess's safety, but they can both stay here if it's make our princess happy." Said the Emperor with a smile.

"Then we'll leave, your majesty." King jin bowed the former emperor yoongi and the new emperor taehyung.

The queen pulled away from the prince and wiped his eyes before placing a tender kiss on his forehead, holding back her tears.

"My baby, I'll be right back to see you. Behave well." The queen whispered to the prince and bowed emperor yoongi. She then turned to the new emperor, taehyung.

"Your highness, she's still young.. please be patient with her. I'm leaving her here with you because I trust you." The queen said, her eyes welling up with tears.

"Don't worry, queen, I'll take good care of her." Taehyung said, his voice soft.

After that everyone who came from the jolbon kingdom left.

"Take the empress to her palace. I'll be right back." Taehyung said that to a maid and turned to jimin.

"Where is namjoon?"

"I think he went for his night visit around the palace."

"Oh, can you show hoseok his chamber then?" Jimin nodded, agreeing.

While tzuyu and the princess went to her palace, jimin left with hoseok, leaving the new emperor alone.

"Is this my bed chamber?" The princess asked the middle-aged maid, her big eyes darting around the chamber.

"Yes, my empress."

As soon as those words came out of her mouth,  jungkook ran and jumped onto the king sized bed in the middle of the chamber. Seeing Jungkook's legs swinging on air, a somber expression crept across tzuyu's face. She knew that jungkook couldn't behave here the way he behaved in jolbon palace. He is an empress now.. not a princess of a small kingdom.

The empress's palace consisted of two bedrooms, a bathing room and a living room.

"Other small bed chamber is for your friend. Your majesty." The maid said, smiling at the adorable empress.

"Let's go.. I want to see tzuyu's chamber too."

"You can see it later. You should be ready for the wedding night now." Tzuyu said before jungkook does another bratty thing.

"But.. I want to see your chamber. If mother is not there, I always slept with you." Jungkook said, pouting. Tzuyu sighed and looked at the maid next to her with pleading eyes.

Understanding her silent request, the middle-aged maid smiled slightly and turned back to their empress.

"Empress, you can see her room later. You must take a bath before the emperor arrives."

"Aah, alright." The princess huffed.

"Um, I can help the empress to wash herself. She is bit uncomfortable with strangers." Tzuyu lied, because she can't let anyone to know their little secret.

"Well then, everything you need is in the bathing room. Tell me if you need anything. I'll wait outside." The maid before leaving them alone. Tzuyu then entered the bathing room with jungkook.

There was a small tub filled with water. Tzuyu mixed rose petals and some aromatic oil with water and prepared it for the princess's bath.

"Wash yourself.. Tell me if you need anything. I'll prepare new clothes for you to wear." Tzuyu said before walking out of the bathing room.

"What should I do now?" The newly appointed emperor was sipping a glass of liquor in his chamber to control his restless thoughts. Although taehyung generally disliked alcohol, he knew from experience that alcohol would give him some relief when he had a problem, but no alcohol could ever make him drunk. After all he was a supernatural creature.

"She's our soulmate, taehyung.. what else are you waiting for? We waited enough to make her ours." Vantae said his honest thoughts, Taehyung stayed silent but he knew what vantae said was true.

"But.. she's still a little kid."

"Taehyung, girls her age in this empire usually get married at this age."

"That's true, but she's acting like a little kid."

"But I don't know if I can control myself near her." Taehyung frowned as vantae bluntly said.

"I will not allow you to harass her. I still regret what you once did."

"Argh! How many times have I told you that jennie is lying. I can't do that to anyone else. We only live for our partner." Vantae spat angrily.

Although kim taehyung believed his other half, he didn't want to completely dismiss what jennie had said.

"Well then I'll go to her palace. But you can't take the control from me. You'll definitely hurt her."

"Kim taehyung, she's our partner and she's very strong even though she looks fragile. Besides, I can never hurt her. She's my mate.. it's my responsibility to protect her."

"All right. Once I get to know her well and she is comfortable around me, you can meet her. Wait until then." Kim taehyung said before closing the mindlink.

Meanwhile somewhere in the palace,

"Daughter, I told you I can't do anything." A middle-aged man told the girl in front of him.

"But father, I want him, and I want this kingdom more than him. You promised me to help me." The girl said impulsively.

"Let's find another way. He already promised to marry you."

"Yeah. He still believes my lies. So I'm sure he's going to marry me, but the power of an empress is can't even compare with a mere concubine. And we can't do anything until that old emperor is there."

"It's very hard to kill him. We've weakened him somehow, but he's still live. I'm going to send him out of this world forever with the next black majic. Then we can deal with the new empress. You can continue with fooling the prince."
