They stared at the flesh ball. It stared back.
It smiled and lunged at Kobeni.
"Got you." Himeno captured the weird flesh head mid-air using some kind of force.
Kobeni flabbergasted about what just happened.
"It's floating...?!" Denji stunned.
"It's a fight then!" Power's blood protruding from her wrist, forming a knife. The creature was sliced in half clean.
Kobeni proceeds to freak out while Power stands victorious.
"Stupid devil! It got scared of me it started floating! Gahahahaha!" she cheered.
"You got it all wrong. That was my power! My ghost caught it!" Himeno exclaimed.
"Ghost?" Power confused.
"I've contacted with a ghost devil." she interpreted while pointing at her eye patch," In exchange for letting it eat my right eye, I can use the ghost's right hand. It's invisible and strong. Super convenient."
"Well, Aki? Does it have a piece of that gun fucker?" she questioned.
"There isn't a strong reaction. It's not this guy," he responded while confirming the bullet fragment.
"That so... Welp, let's head up then!"
One by one, they walked up the stairs to the next floor.
"Is it really a good idea for you to jabber on about your abilities in front of me like that?" Power said," The whole reason you're here is to keep me in check, right?"
"Knowing each other's abilities makes it easier to work together, right? Besides, I've still got an ace up my sleeve, so it's fine."Himeno told her.
"Oh reeeaaalllly?Then, if I said I was going to kill her, what would you do?" the devilman points a blood knife at Kobeni.
A hand emerged out of thin air proceed to choke Power.
"Put away your weapon. If you do anything bad, I can strangle you to death at any time."Himeno warned her.
"Ghhh! I won't touch.. her.." the blood fiend coughed.
"It's a pain in the ass though, so let's just get along." the ravenette advised.
"One of these days I'm going to eat her!" the horned-girl announced," Don't eat her until I've got my kiss!" Denji interrupts her.
"Huh..?" Arai felt something is wrong.
"What?" Aki asked the spiky-haired man.
"Just now, we... we went up the stairs from the 8th floor to the 9ft floor, right?" Arai questioned.
