"You're totally going to bang." Timmy says casually, from where he leaned near Xan's closet watching the boy freak out over outfit choices.

Jahsae had asked Xan on a date the previous day and now he was nervous and excited at the same time. But Timmy's commentary wasn't helping in the slightest.
Ignoring his friend, Xan picked out a floral shirt that his mom had bought him last Christmas that he never wore. "Ew." He muttered under his breath, throwing it straight back.

"I'm telling you. That man wants to bang your brains out, i can tell, it's all in the eyes."

"Please stop saying bang." Xander groaned.

"I'm just saying, you need to be prepared. From one virgin to another, you can't let your guard down in the face of such battle."

Xan snorted, because Timmy was making no sense whatsoever. Looking around he almost screamed at the state of his bedroom. Everything was in total shambles. Clothes and shoes littered everywhere, from his bed to his desk, to the bathroom, all the way to the freaking hallway, which he could see because his door was wide open.

"What are you looking for anyway?" Timmy asked nonchalantly. He picked up a speedo hanging on a lantern and whistled. "Ouu you could wear this."

If Xander had energy left he would've asked Timmy some very hurtful questions. But instead he slumped on his bed, facing up.

Just then Xavien walked by, "Hi X!" Timmy called out, followed by an awkward wave, he had not the faintest clue why the fuck he just did that. Sometimes his mouth just starts moving before his brain can catch up, he needs to have that checked out asap.

"Don't talk to me." X responded harshly, and kept walking.
It's a Friday evening which in this household meant that no one other than the three of them were in the house at this time. So the quiet of the hallway made X's voice boom louder than necessary.

"Rude much?" Timmy mumbled to himself, he would be a little hurt if he had any shame, but unfortunately he did not. "Anyway back to you." He flashed Xan a knowing smile when he says, "you should buy some lube just incase you're getting banged."

"TIMMY!!"

"Okay okay, I'll stop....for now."

"Yes because you sound insane, it's literally our first date. I'm not doing that on the first date. Incase you haven't noticed, this is real life, not one of those creepy porn thingies you watch all the damn time."

"Don't knock it till you try it my dear."

"You need Jesus."

On the other side of town stood an equally nervous Jahsae Barksdale, hovering and soliloquizing outside the indoor studio where his parents were currently reviewing the track list of his dad's upcoming album. But unlike Xander, Jah had zero nerves surrounding his date, that was definitely going to be as effortlessly as the rest of his encounter with Xan.
He was anxious for an entirely different reason.

"I just have to rip the bandaid off, no biggie." He muttered to himself, as he resumed pacing back and forth.

The past week has been physically draining for Jah. Winning states championship would be the biggest deal of his entire fucking life, so he has spent every waking moment either in the gym or on the field working his ass off. All the while getting to know a boy he's really into. Which explains the physical exhaustion, but in other for there not to be a mental one as well, he has to come clean to his parents.

"I can do this." The teen let out a deep breath, then walked into the studio, and stood in front of his parents.

His parents immediately paused what they were doing and looked at him, worry evident on their faces. "What's wrong honey?" His mother asked.

Jah fidgets a little bit, God he's so scared. Because what if his parents rejects him and kicks him out? What if they're disgusted by him and can't stand the sight of him? He loved them too much to have that be the case, they're everything to him, and their approval actually means something.

Jah's stomach churned with restlessness.

"Jahsae Mario Barksdale, if you don't start talking right now..." Indiana urged, her mind explored a million different scenarios as she did. They've been lucky so far to have raised a son that kept a clean slate and almost never got into trouble, but she guessed she always feared that a day would come when he'd get tired of being a good kid and go crazy, she sincerely hoped this wasn't that day.

"Mom, dad, I think I'm gay. Or bi, I'm not exactly sure. But I'm not straight." Jah hurriedly said before he could chicken out.

"Okayyy..." They both chorused impatiently, waiting for the rest of the bombshell their kid was about to drop on them. "And?" Jah's dad questioned, anxiously. "What happened?" The man demanded.

"What do you mean what happened? That's it. I wanted to let y'all know that I'm bisexual."

His mom hissed and threw something at him. "Why did you scare us like that coming in here like you were involved in a hit and run? What's wrong with you?"

"I don't understand, You're not mad?"

"Mad for what? The heart wants what the heart wants, love has no gender." Indiana replied.

Jah looks at his dad warily. His mom was the easy part, but his dad? His dad is a whole different ballgame, he's not sure what to expect with him.

"Nothing could ever put a dent on our love for you son, I'm sorry for whatever I may have done to give you the impression that was possible."

Jah let a tear or joy roll down his cheek as his parents gave him a fierce hug. He loved them so fucking much.

Now all he gotta do is focus and win that game.
And get that fine ass boy to fall in love with him.

I wrote and completed this book on sheets of papers, which admittedly wasn't the most practical thing to do, but I didn't have too many options at the time.
Anyway, I said that to say, some pages are now missing🤦🏽
Two from the middle, and one close to the end, to be exact.
This is also why I haven't been updating this, cos if y'all know me y'all know I loath rewriting shit.
So I've been tryna decide if I want to attempt rewriting the missing pages, or delete the book altogether.

Don't trip though, I'm gon try to rewrite.
Keyword being 'try'.
