(Set in the old Traphouse)
~Colbys POV~
I pulled up to the driveway to the Traphouse, I got my keys and got out of the car. I locked the door and heading up to the door, I opened it. I saw Corey chasing Sam around. Them both laughing as Jake and Elton recorded. "I'm home" I smiled, "colby!" Sam squealed am running over to me" I opened my arms letting him run in them. "Hi" I laughed. His tail moving around in pure excitement, I placed him down on his feet. "You got the waffles" Jake said, "yea there in the trunk" I said wrapping my arms around Sams waist.
Jake nodded and walked outside, "cmon let's head up to my room" I whispered in his ear.
He giggled and darted up the stairs. I laughed and ran up with him to my room. As soon as I opened my room Sam ran in and started jumping on my bed. I smiled and watched him, he soon flopped down on his bed. "Come here" I smiled as I laid on the bed. He crawled on top of me and laid his head on my chest. I slowly petted his cat ears, the others and I met sam a few months ago, we were walking down town at night. We just got done doing a podcast with Brennen.
~Flashback~
We were all laughing jakes complaining how his sponge bob socks were getting wet, I turned my head hearing the sound of running footsteps and panting breath. "What's that's noise?" Corey said. "I don't know but we better figure it out!" I said running to the sound of the running, soon the boys fallowed behind me. We turned to a dark alley way, "please go away!" We saw someone pinned to the wall by a older man. I ran over and punched the taller man, "back the fuck away from him!" I yelled. He soon ran of, I turn to face the small boy, "hey.. hey.. you okay" I tried to see his face but it was covered by the dark night.
"Here let me turn my flashlight on to see if there's any cuts" Elton said turning on his flashlight on his phone, he pointed to the boy. His skin was pale and he had the most bluest eyes I have ever seen and the hair of a sunset. "Can you take your hood off so we can see if your okay.." I said gentle. He just bowed his head. I took his hood off to see cat ears, "what the fuck!" We all said making him flinch. "Sorry sorry" I said patting him. I looked at his ears, they were real. "What's your name" I said as rain started to pour down.
"S-Sam.." he said. I looked at at the others they looked worried, "Sam would you like to come with us tonight.." I said blocking the rain. He nodded, "alright come on" I helped him up, his legs wobbled for a bit until he collapsed in my arms, "his leg!" Jake pointed out. Elton shunned his light onto his leg. He was wearing jeans but his left leg has a huge rip on it showing some torn flesh with blood coming out. "Here hold on to me" he nodded and wrapped his arms around my neck. I wrapped my arms around his waist, "come on!" The boys and I rushed to eltons car. Corey sat in the back with us and Jake and Elton in the front. As we drove Sam held onto me whimpering at the pain in his leg, I cradled his head to my chest.
Once we got home we ran out of the car, i bridal style him as we quickly ran to the door as the ran came down hard. Elton unlocked the door, "I'll get the first aid kit!" Corey and running upstairs. I laid Sam on the couch, now since we're home I could get a better look of him. His ears matched his hair color with a bit of pink inside them, and his tail moving side to side. I know I should be freaked out but I'm not, Corey came back and prop his leg on coreys knee.
I sat next to Sam we're he snuggled against me in fear, I held him close by. "This will sting but it will heal way quicker okay?" Corey said. Sam nodded and squeezed my hand, Corey apply the liquid causing Sam to hiss. Corey soon wrapped his leg up in bandage, "here I'll take him and get some new clothes" I said running up to my room. I grabbed some old flannel pajama pants. I poked a hole in the pants for his tail, I grabbed one of my hoodies.
