~Colbys POV~
I lend against the pole, underneath the bleachers. Tonight was the last football game for the season, I peaked out to see the game. The cheerleaders cheering for their teams, I glanced over to see a blonde boy. A boy who I see everyday at school, "cmon colby just talk to him" Jake said as he pushed me. "Jake I can't just do that!" I whispered yelled, he rolled his eyes.
"You have had a crush on Sam since 8th grade it's not a big deal" Corey said as he stepped out of the darkness.
"It is to corey! We're fucking vampires and he's a human like what if he bleeds and I can't control my want for blood" I was practically freaking out, "hey hey calm down!" Jake said as he placed his hands on my shoulder. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, I slowly let it out.
"Just be you colby okay..we practiced.." Corey said, "yea with a fucking pillow!" (Can I get a F in the chat for the pillow 😔 ✊🏻)
I was suddenly pushed out, I pulled all my weight down to my feet. Trying to slowly down, "hey Sam!" Corey and Jake yelled. The blonde boy turned around and looked at me. I felt my cheeks warm up, "we want you to meet a friend!" They said as they let go of my shoulder. I shot mg head around to see them running off, I groaned and turned around to see Sam standing there. I jumped back again and fell onto my butt, "oops! Sorry" he giggled. I looked up to see him lending down with his hand up. I chuckled nervously and took his hand, I stood up and dusted myself off.
"I-I..sorry this is awkward..I'm not much a talker" I said as I rubbed the back on my neck nervously. He smiled, "it's fine I'm always like that" god his voice was even better up close.
"I-uh..I'm colby" I pulled out my hand, "Sam.. but you probably know that" he smiled and shook my hand. His hands are so soft...
"So how do you know Jake and Corey?" I said, "we met at cheerleading practice they helped me get Jordan off me" I nodded, "oh I'm sorry he did that"
His cheeks had a bit of pink to his cheeks, from the cold wind. "It's sucks you have to cheer out in this weather" I said, "y-yea it's literally almost fall and I'm in a crop top and a skirt" I sighed. Suddenly I got a idea, I quickly took off my flannel jacket and held it out. "Here you need it more" he looked a bit shocked. "A-are you sure?" I smiled and nodded, "this sweater is warm enough" he smiled and slowly took it. "Thank" he placed it around him, it was baggy on him which made it 100 times better.
"Hey..uh you wanna go to pops milkshakes after this.. o-only if you want to" I felt my dead heart beat. "Sure! I-I mean sure" he giggled. "Alright i better get back to cheer uh I'll see you after the game" I smiled and nodded. I turned my back towards him and looked to see Corey and Jake smiling wide.
"Wellll...." Corey smirked, "we are actually..going to bobs burgers to talk" Corey and jakes eyes widen. "Your joking!" Jake said. I chuckled, "look who's jacket he's wearing" I said as I pointed to Sam. They looked and their mouth dropped more.
"That's my boyyyyy!!" Corey said as he sorted my back, I laughed and looked back at Sam. We made eye contact, I winked causing him to blush.
"Don't lose your cool okay buddy" Jake said as he patted my back. I nodded and headed up to the bleachers, I walked to the top and flopped down next to Jake and Corey.
