•Colbys POV•
Just a normal day out in outer banks...what can I say it's Paradise on earth. Normally teens around my age would be in school....welll heh funny story..
"Cmon colby!" Jake yelled as he jumped over the metal fence, I looked behind me to see one of the school cops chasing full speed, I quickly gripped onto the fence and jumped over it, "get back here you stupid kids!" He yelled I just laughed as I ran to the van. "Cmon colby!" Corey yelled. I quickly jumped in, "go! Go!" Jake yelled. Corey quickly stepped on the gas and drove off.
I crawled over to the window, and pushed the curtains away to see the cop standing in road. "Phew!" I said as I laid down on the floor. "Next time Colby I WILL DEAL WITH THE COP" ah yes corey... he's part of my gang. He has the 'brains' of the group. "Oh come one Corey it was a good distraction to throw flour on him" and there's Jake. He not the smartest nor dumbest of the group he's just...well Jake..
Suddenly my phone went off, "Fuck.." I whispered to myself, "what?" Jake said while cramming his mouth with Cheetos, "mr golbach wants me to come over and help him with his boat..." I placed my phone down and rubbed my face in stress. "Hey you've been working with him seen your parents went off to explore the world what's the big deal?" Corey said as he kept his eyes on the road.
"He gives me a hard time sometimes and it stresses the fuck out of me"
"Well me and Jake and Jake have to go to the market anyways so you just want us to drop you off?" Corey said, "yea that will be fine" I got up and walked sat in the passenger seat. I looked out to see many teens and others rush to the beach, it was a very warm day here I can't lie. I then saw the familiar dock in the distance, "alright we're are here at golbachs dock and here stands mr Colby bock..maybe the last time we see him if he not dead" Jake said in a walkie-talkie voice.
"Shut up" I rolled my eyes playfully and got out, "we will pick you up when we're done" Corey said while he window was down. I nodded and began to walk off, "don't die!" I heard Jake yell. I laughed to myself and began to head to the dock.
Once I got to the dock I looked around, "mr golbach?" Nothing. "Oh your here" I turned around to see a blonde boy sitting in one of the sun chairs, "I'm sorry.. but who are you and I'm here for me golbach" the boy stood up, he was at least up to my chest. "Im Sam and I actually texted you" he said as he began to walk to one of the boats. I was frozen, "wait wait!" I shook my head and began to follow him. "How did you get mr golbach number?"
He sighed, "that's my dad" he smirked, "oh.." he giggled and got on the boat, "so uh-.. what seems the problem.." I said as I got on the boat as well. "Well down here I find there was a leak in the air conditioner" he said as he took me down to one of the bed rooms.
"Me and my boyfriend noticed it when he came over" he said as pointed to the gray box. And there indeed a small cracked in the vent. "Yea.. I can fixes this but uh.. you have any paper towel so I can hold down any leaks in it?" he nodded.
"Yea hold on I think it in my dads office I'll be back" I nodded and went back to the crack, i sighed and stood up. It was very hot, I began to unbutton my white shirt. I bend down and slowly pulled it out.
Since when did mr golbach have a kid?
I used my hand to wipe the sweat off my face, I then heard small footsteps. "Here ya go" I nodded and ripped a hood pice off and place it underneath it, "so uh how long have you've been working with my dad?" He said while lending on a dresser, "uh well.. he saw how good I was at driving his boat around after a oil change and he was impressed at my engineering skills" he nodded slowly.
