The dinner continues and maybe I was stiffed because I was just sitting up straight, then silently eating what's on my spoon and fork and whenever they would asked me, I have to drink some water first because I know how my throat dried up. I'm not even sure if my smile was forced. But maybe not.

I still have an escape if ever I got trap with their questions.

"So, what do you do darling?" Tita Azunta asked.

I took a quick glance on Connagh and shifted it back to his mom. "Well, I'm in the country for an internship. I already completed a month a few days and I'll be here in few more weeks left."

"Oh, wow, you might be having an incredible stay here in London, don't you?"

"I really do po," I giggled when I answered her. "I'm having a good time here. Actually, most of my experiences were with Sir—Ah, Connagh, your son."

"Oh, yes! He mentioned to me that you both flew to Las Vegas," she said and I nodded. "So, how was it? My son told me it was your first time in the states."

"Connagh tells a lot of thing, huh?" aniko. Napangisi na lamang si Connagh sa tabi ko habang natawa naman ang kanyang mother. Umayos naman ako ako ng pagkakaupo to tell them my experience in Vegas. "It was one of a kind, I must admit. I've never been out of the country. London was first, and then the states. We explored the city, gambled a little bit, and we almost got into an adult show which was hilarious. I could still remember Connagh's face when we enter the club and there were full of—"

"Oh, I think that's enough for them to know," Connagh cuts me off. "Yeah, I think they don't need to know that part, Kiersten. Let's just tell the fun part, not the embarrassing moments, alright?"

I chuckled and nodded. "Sure... so yeah. It was also my first time to be on a private plane so the difference between the commercial plane and the plane we flew to be there was exquisite. I never thought it would happen in my life. I never thought I would be here in London and meeting the both of you."

"Thanks to Connagh for doing that," she said. "You guys might be so closed for boss and intern, huh?"

"Well, we shared a few moments outside of the office so we're friends." He nudged me off kaya napalingon ako sa kanya. "Right?"

Tumango na lamang ako sa kanya para sumang-ayon. "We did quite a few moments..."

"Is she your girlfriend son?" tanong ni Tito Peterson, well, he likes to be called Pete for short.

Ako naman agad ang umiling para dumipensa kahit hindi naman ako ang tinatanong. "No po. He's not really my boyfriend. I'm kind off dating someone else right now."

"Oh, really?" tita was quite shocked when I said that. I tried looking at Connagh's reaction, but I just saw how his jaw clenched and how hard he bit and chewed his steaks. Did I say it off of a wrong bat? "Who is this young man you're dating with and not my son?" She asked so seriously and followed it with a laughed.

Napangisi na lang din naman ako sa tanong niya. I don't know how to carry this, but it's getting so awkward and they might think that I'm taking their son for granted. But I hope they don't. At ako lamang ang nag-iisip ng bagay na 'yon.

"He's Berkeley Jones."

"He actually wanted to be with a prince," Connagh stated.

Kumunot ang noo ng mother niya. "Is this Berkeley a prince? I haven't heard of him? Is he a royal from another country? I know I've never heard that name from the British royals."
