Chapter 5: The New Rebels

Linh's POV

I CAN'T BELIEVE TAM! HE KILLED HIMSELF AT THE END OF SOPHIE'S PLANTING! How could he do this to me? Not only did I lose my best friend, but now I lost my brother too. UGH. I can totally imagine the look on my parents face right now. They probably look so proud that they don't have twins anymore. Suddenly, my imparter rang, and Fitz's face appears on the screen.

"Wassup" I say.

The I realize that there are tears in his eyes.

"Are you okay?" I ask.

He shakes his head no. 

"What is wrong?" I question.

"Biana..." He starts, but does seem able to finish his sentence. Still, he said "Biana's killed herself at Sophie's planting..."

I gasp. Either this was a strange coincidence, or they planned it all. "Tam's dead too!" I say.

"What?" Fitz says

"I know, it's strange that they would both commit suicide on the same day."

~~Time skip~~

The next Saturday at Noon

As I walked through the Wanderling Woods to attend Biana's and Tam's planting, I notice that at least 3/4 of the elvin population is here. Both trees would be planted next to each other and planted at the same time. To my great surprise, my horrible parents look very sad indeed. Everyone watched as the trees grew. Biana's had a darkish pale trunk, teal fruits and flowers and brown leaves. Tam's had a palelike trunk, silver-blue fruit and, to my great surprise, black AND silver leaves. After a few sad words and goodbyes, I returned home, only to see a new message from the Council arrive 10 minutes later. It said: Come to the Tribunal Hall tomorrow. That's it. No explanation. Nothing. Just those six words. I sighed. What could the Councillors want now?

~~Time skip (yes, there is ANOTHER time skip)~~

I was surprised to see the whole evlen population here. There were even more that at the plantings yesterday. Everyone took their seats and I had to go sit next to my parents. UGH. Great. The Councillors glittered into their seats and Emery started. 

"It has come to our attention that a new group has formed" He said

Everyone looked confused. There were whispers.

"A new rebel group. Like the Black Swan and the Neverseen. We have found this out because the night Sophie Foster died, there was a scrap of red cloth with a Pegasus. Then, a few days later, Biana Vacker and Tam Song died. This scrap was there again." He had barely said those words when the scraps flew out of his hands and wrote a message. 

The words were fire. The scraps had BECOME fire.  The message said: "I bet you are wondering who killed the last three people who died. We did. The Red Pegasus. The leader bears the Alicorn. You should fear our leader.  You can identify us if we have a red cape, red heels or shoes, red leggings or pants, red shirts or dresses and especially, the sign of the pegasus." 

Then, the fire became ashes and fell on the ground.

Anyways, I am gonna do something new. Ask you a question at the end of each chapter. YOu don't hafta answer if you don't wanna. Yeah. soooooooooooooooooooooo.... I won't be doing this for this chapter, but I will for the next.
