Chapter 9

(Travis's pov)

It was the next morning, I woke up next to Sal. Today's the day we're gonna tell everyone that me and him were dating. I was so nervous, I knew almost everyone in that friend group hated me, I just hope they'll be accepting. Sal soon woke up, wrapping his arm around me and kissing my cheek.

"Hey, good morning" Sal smiled softly.

I looked over at Sal, blushing a bit.

"H-hey Sal.." I couldn't help but smile, he looked so cute.

"Get up and get ready for school, i'll make you breakfast okay?" Sal got out of bed and put on a hoodie and a pair of jeans, along with his mask.

I nodded and got up. Sal left to the kitchen and started making breakfast for me, I don't think someone has ever been this nice to me before. For once I felt... Happy, really really happy.

I yawned and walked over to Sal's closet, grabbing one of his hoodies and putting it on, it smelt just like him. I smiled brightly and went out to the kitchen. Sal looked over at me and smirked.

"aww you look so cute, baby" Sal giggled and sat a plate down on the kitchen table,it had eggs and bacon on it.

This caused me to blush brightly, 'HE JUST CALLED ME BABY OMG OMG' I screamed on the inside.

"thanks for the food Sal.." I sat down at the table and started eating. "this is really good! I didn't know you knew how to cook"

Sal laughed, "Yeah, I learned from my mom, i'm glad you like it though"

I could tell Sal was admiring me, which I didn't mind, I liked the attention he was giving me.

"we should start heading off soon if we don't wanna be late" Sal said, grabbing his backpack.

"oh yeah.. hey, Sal?"

"yeah?" he looked over at me.

"uhm.. do you think your friends will accept me? i've been really mean to them, how do you know they'll be fine with us dating?" I said, a bit nervous.

"well, they don't know the real you, Travis. Once you open up to them i'm sure they'll understand, they're really nice people"

"Yeah, i guess you're right" I sighed.

"everything will be alright, okay? let's start heading off to school" Sal helped me up, giving me my back pack.

I smiled softly and started walking to school with Sal, holding his hand, I really liked him.

~ Time Skip ~

We finally made it to school, I felt like I was going to throw up I was so nervous. We started walking towards Sal's friend group, I tried to stay as calm as possible.

(Sal's pov)

Me and Trav were about to tell everyone that we were a thing, yeah I was a bit nervous but once we tell them everything that's going on I know they'll be accepting of him. I looked over at Travis and noticed he was a bit shaken up. I held his hand to try to calm him down. We walked up to my friend group, they noticed me and Travis were holding hands.

"uhm.. Sal? why're you holding hands with your BULLY" Ashley said, really confused.

Todd was also a bit confused, but waited for us to explain.

"Hold on Ash, let them speak" Larry said.

"Well you see, me and Travis are dating. And i know he has bullied me in the past but there's a reason for that! we'll tell you the whole story at lunch" I explained, class was about to start so I had to rush it.

"WHAT????" Ash yelled, making everyone look at us.

"shh!! Ash, calm down okay?" I sighed.

"There better be a good reason for this Sal, he's a bully!" Ash stormed off.

I knew Travis was really sad, I probably should've waited to tell everyone but friends shouldn't keep secrets from each other, especially a secret like this. Todd and Larry walked up to us, smiling.

"I may not know what's going on but, I accept you guys. I know there's good in you, Travis. Let's talk more at lunch alright?" Todd said.

Travis nodded, smiling a bit from that.

"Ignore Ash okay Trav? She just doesn't know the real you, you know what i'm saying? Anyways, i'll see you two lovebirds around!" Larry ran off to his class.

"see, that wasn't so bad. We just need to tell Ash everything that's happened, okay?"

Travis nodded. I leaned down and lifted up my mask, kissing him on the lips before putting my mask back on.

"Let's get to class, okay?" I smiled.
