Chapter 10

{No ones POV}

The bell rang, which meant it was lunchtime. Travis left his class and met up with Sal, he hugged Sally's arm, insanely nervous. He was scared of what Ashley would say or do. Sal knew everything will turn out fine and he kept telling Travis that but Travis didn't believe him. They walked into the cafeteria, sitting at the table they usually sit at and waited for all their friends to come in.

{Travis's POV}

I didn't know what to do, Ashley can get really mean and defensive at times so I was a bit terrified. I soon saw Larry and Todd walk in, sitting down at the table me and Sal were sitting at.

"Hey wassup you guys! Ashley said she'll be here soon" Larry smiled brightly and started eating food off his lunch tray.

I sighed at what Larry said, which he noticed because he comforted me.

"Hey Trav, it'll be alright dude! I know Ash can be harsh but you just needa get on her good side!"

I nodded, I just wanted to get this over with. Ashley soon walked into the cafeteria, sitting down at the table. She glared at me and Sal.

"Well, im here. explain what's going on" Ashley said in a very snarky tone.

"uhm wel-" I cut Sally off.

"Listen Ashley, I know I have been a really mean and bad person to you guys and I understand why you don't accept me and Sal. All my life my dad has abused me.. both physically and mentally. I know that's no excuse for the stuff I did but.. To my dad being gay is one of the worst things you can be. I really love Sal, he means the world to me and I honestly don't know what I would do without him. I hope you'll find it in your heart to forgive me, Ashley. I'm sorry for being so mean to you all those years and I'll make it up to you, I swear"

Ashley just sat there, with a surprised face.

"so that's why you always come to school with a black eye?" Ash questioned.

Sally glared at Ashley.

"Heh, yeah.. I don't think I'm gonna go home anytime soon" I responded.

"I see... I'm sorry all that stuff happened to you, Travis. No one deserves to go through that. I forgive you and i'm glad you and sal are happy" She smiled softly. "Well, I gotta dip, see you guys around!" Ashley got up and walked out of the cafeteria.

"I told you it would go good!" Sal pulled me into a tight hug, "i'm so proud of you.."

I blushed softly, hugging Sal back. "Thanks, Sal.."

{Ashley's POV}

I quickly ran into the bathroom, going into the stall and locking the door. I started tearing up, I can't believe this is happening. I started to cry, a lot. I've liked Sal ever since I met him, I was so sure he liked me back but for some reason he started dating his... bully.

"FUCK!!" I yelled, punching the wall which caused my knuckles to bleed.

I sat on the bathroom floor, bawling. I was so heartbroken, it feels like my whole world just shattered. I was planning on confessing to him during prom, but now I have to watch the boy I loved for months fall in love with someone else. After about 15 minutes of crying, I got my shit together and cleaned myself up. I walked out of the bathroom, praying no one notices i've been crying. I honestly just wanna go home and lay in bed for the rest of the day.

"Yo!! Ash!" Larry ran up to me.

'great..' i thought to myself. "hi, you need something?"

"woahhh, Ash have you been crying or are you high right now?" Larry noticed how red my eyes were.

I started tearing up again. "Why do you always have to be so nosy, Larry??" I walked faster, just wanting to get away from everyone.

"hey ash hold up! what's wrong??" Larry grabbed my hand.

I was about to cry."JUST LEAVE ME ALONE OKAY?!" I pushed Larry away and ran off, I honestly don't care if people were looking at me, Im upset and need to go home.

Larry watched me run off, really worried about me. "Ash..."
