Be kind to me
Be kind to my heart
Be kind to my soul
Be kind in my arms
Be kind to my eyes
Even in the dark
Be kind tomorrow
Even when we're apart
Be kind to my petulance
Promise I'll always be your preference
Even if it's under false pretence
Be kind to me for i am broken
Be kind to my bones
Be kind to the words that I've not yet spoken
Be kind even to the parts I have not yet opened
I know I'm asking for too much, but could you bear with me and be kind for a little while
Could you be my teacher and show me how?
