"Excuse me."

Physically, I was currently in front of Kinu's apartment, crouching down next to the package while gawking at the man that suddenly spoke those words from behind us.

Mentally, my brain cells were currently invoking a fourth plan on how to get out of this situation without having said man notice me.

"I think that may be mine," Mr. Arms pointed towards the box that sat in front of me. "I'm Hajime Iwaizumi."

As he was about to look my way, I hastily turned around to face the box, not allowing him to see my face.

'What the fuck?! Why is he here?'

"Ah!" Kinu quickly gasped and clapped her hands together. "Are you the one moving into 506?"

"Yes, it's a pleasure to meet you."

"Yes, likewise," Kinu began to walk towards the man, extending her hand to greet him. "I didn't know such a handsome gentleman was the one moving in."

Hajime lightly laughed and greeted her back.

"I live in 504 and, this young lady," Kinu motioned towards me and walked over to my side, " she lives in 505."

'Kinu STOP' I thought to myself. 'What do I do? What do I do? Do I turn around to face him? Do I ignore him?!'

The hallway grew silent as both Kinu and Hajime waited for my response. I could feel the tension in the air grow as we three stood there without moving.

'Holy FUCK, this is so awkward.'

I felt beads of sweat start pooling around my forehead. "Hello..." I quietly greeted him by shifting my face slightly to the side to allow him to see part of my profile but without moving my position from the ground.

"Ah, hello," Hajime greeted back, a little taken aback by my peculiar greeting.

Kinu, on the other hand, wasn't about to allow me to be impolite to the kind man. She gently kicked my back in an attempt to get me to realize how rude I was being. Usually, I would have remained unfazed from such an action, but because I was completely out of it at my current state, the kick caused me to lose balance and topple over the package with a loud thud.

"Argh!" I cried out. My body was sprawled over the box and the floor, my butt hanging up in the air.

"Y/n!" Kinu barked out, shocked to see me acting in such a way, probably thinking that it was just an act.

Remembering that I was currently wearing my neon green shorts and knowing that I was showing too much skin, I swiftly brought my body back up from the ground. Embarrassed and not knowing what to do, I muttered a quick "goodbye" and made my way into my apartment, not stopping to see either of Kinu's or Hajime's expressions.

I hastily opened my apartment door and shut it a little louder than I should have. I locked the door and let out a shaky sigh as I leaned against it, trying to calm my racing heart.

"I'm so sorry for her," I heard Kinu's faint voice coming from the other side of the door. "She must have needed to go to the bathroom or something."

'KINU'  I screamed in my head, bringing my hands to my face in embarrassment. 'WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT?!'

Kinu let out a small laugh to lighten the mood. I quickly placed my eye on the door's peephole to see what was happening outside.

"No worries," Hajime responded with a small smile. "It must have been important if she left so suddenly."

"That girl is weird, no doubt, but she's not rude. I hope you'll forgive her this one time."

'Kinu!! Maybe you aren't so bad.'

"Ah!" Kinu moved towards her door as she remembered the reason why he was there. "This is yours, no?" She asked while pointing towards the box.

Hajime walked towards the package to look at the information sticker and nodded. "What about yours? I can go down to the lobby to retrieve it."

"No, it's alright. I can get y/n to bring it up for me." Kinu stated as she pointed towards my door.

Hajime glanced at my door with a small nod as his eyes slowly traveled up to the peephole.

I immediately backed myself away from it as I felt his hot gaze land on mine.

'He can't see me.... there's no way he can see me. Calm down y/n!' I scolded.

"It really would be no problem," Hajime explained to Kinu.

She pondered about it for a moment and gave in. "Alright! It wouldn't be bad to get to know my new neighbor in the process! And I would get a chance to tell you about me."

As they began to make their way to the elevator and I heard their footsteps slowly dimming, I returned my gaze to the peephole. Seeing the empty hallway before me, I once again let out a relieved sigh and rested my body against the door.

"Why am I such a fool," I muttered, remembering how I acted in front of him. "I'm so fucking dumb..."

Dismissing my thoughts before they had the time to grow and cause me to spiral, I began to make my way to my living room where master Loco's workout was waiting for me. Tying my hair up in a messy bun, I restarted the DVD, knowing that it would clear my head.

"Welcome back my little kittens," master Loco's voice boomed from the TV. "Shall we get started on the first day of our second month?"

"Yes, master Loco!" I chanted along with the other ladies from the recording, instantly forgetting my sour mood.

"And now we will end with our..." master Loco's voice roared from the speakers.

"Loco pose!" I screeched out along with master Loco as I squatted and made my hands into a cross in front of me.

"Congratulations, my little kittens. You have ended the first day of your second month." The camera zoomed in on master Loco's face, his dazzling smile not failing to pierce my heart. "Now remember to rest your tired body. Loco, out!"

The camera began zooming out, showing one last glimpse of master Loco's chiseled body before the screen completely becoming black.

Standing myself back up, I began walking to my bathroom, keen on washing away the day's fatigue.
