His Pupil Kakashi/Deidara x Reader

Part 7

After the battle with Sasuke you were left visibly shaken.

To your surprise Tobi saved you moments before the mass explosion.

You couldn't believe Deidara threw away his life like that.. He was so determined to win he lost sight of it all..

"Wait, is that y/n?!"

Kakashi's head shot up when he heard the mention of your name.

You and Tobi were standing high in the trees. You didn't even notice Kakashi and the others below.

You had a ghostly appearance.

They were all cautious over the new man you were with. He wore the familiar Akatsuki cloak.

Kakashi naturally searched for Deidara but soon put together that he wouldn't be returning..

That explosion they all witnessed in the distance practically shook the entire land it was so powerful. Kakashi was left horrified thinking you perished in it.

"I guess him and I won't be fighting again after all.." he thought.

"You better let go of her or you'll have another thing coming!" Naruto threatened.

They were all getting ready to make their move.

Tobi held onto you not because you were his hostage but because you could hardly stay conscious.

He seemed to react ever so slight when he noticed the way Kakashi looked at you.

Kakashi turned to Yamato and Kiba giving them the nod to strike.

Yamato utilized his wood style jutsu while Kiba and Akamaru charged in with fang over fang.

Tobi shrieked and released hold of you just like Kakashi planned.

Everyone's attacks sent straight through his body to their surprise.

Physical attacks were ...useless?

When your body dropped Kakashi was already there. Catching you in a heartbeat.

Tobi's suspicions were clearer.

Upon closer inspection Kakashi noticed you were quite spaced out and weak.

"We'd better get you looked after" he commented while keeping a cautious eye on the masked man.

The group advanced their attacks but it was to no avail. His jutsu proved more powerful. He eventually warped away with this new information.

Yamato and Naruto were glad to see they at least had you back.

Their guilt was heavy for letting you slip away in the first place.

Everyone grew quiet as they noticed how Kakashi held onto you. That was some bond you two had.

While the group chased after Sasuke, Kakashi hadn't so much as mentioned your name. His focus was set only on the mission yet it came to everyone's attention that wasn't quite the case at all.
