Setting aside what happened in romantic terms with you and your sensei you started to wonder where you sat in terms of training..

As of this moment you were still a Genin, as embarrassing as it were..

If it weren't for Kakashi and Deidara you'd still be struggling or perhaps completely in the dark.

You owed everything to those two for what you knew today,

It was Kakashi himself that stopped you from quitting. He took you under his wing shortly after the failure of your Chunin exams. It wasn't your fault, just unfortunate circumstances.

You were paired with two others and well your team didn't make it past the forest of death..

Forget the heaven and earth scrolls, one of your team mates got assassinated in a scheme with the hidden mist village.

You and your surviving team mate learned the hard way why it was nicknamed the 'blood mist'.

They were vicious and craved unnecessary kills. It felt like they weren't even after the scrolls.

After that day you and your team mate stopped talking. It was a mutual mourn that had you both drop out and part ways.

You're not sure when, but somewhere along the lines Kakashi noticed you. He just sort of swept in and had a hard talk with you. Little did you know he was just as drawn to you as you were to him.

He managed to sway your heart in more ways than one and you owed him everything for it.

In becoming his pupil he trained you hard. It went against what he was used to since you had no team mates.

Something about you was different from his regular students. You never really reminded him of a kid, more so, he saw you as something else completely.

Upon further training he had the intent to take you on missions and eventually prepare you for those exams again. That all stopped short though.

The unpredictable occurred..

Deidara..

It was almost Kakashi's worst nightmare. Not only did that criminal seemingly steal your heart he also taught you some forbidden jutsu while he was at it.

Kakashi secretly wished his Kamui hadn't missed the first time..

With all this clouding your mind you even heard from Iruka and Yamato that due to Lady Tsunade's health status they were currently considering a new person for Hokage..

That person was Kakashi..

When you found out you were more than stressed.. Was he going to be like your new boss now?? You cringed at all the times you'd have to awkwardly stand in his office.. especially after what last happened..

You sat up quickly when you heard loud banging come from Iruka's door.

You and Iruka shared a look. He motioned for you to go back in your room before he slowly went to answer it.
