New York,
May 4, 2012-"Come on honey, you have to get away from there," Mom pleaded as she ushered my brother Charlie into our bathroom, the only room in our small apartment that had no windows.
"I can't," I cried as I got up from the floor after checking underneath the bed. "I have to find Bailey."
"The dog is the least I our problems right now," Dad said cautiously while trying to be strong for his family. He stood in the bathroom doorframe sheilding my 10 year old twin brother from view.
At this point i could feel the hot tears streaming Down my cheeks, "I cant leave him I wouldn't be able to live with myself if something happened to her!"
"Everyone in the New York area seek shelter, this is not a drill."
All four of us turn to the radio placed on the kitchen counter.
I turn my attention back to my mother, who stands behind me and I reluctantly took her outstretched hand.
"Bark, Bark."
It all happened so fast. I lost hold of her hand and ran as fast as i could to my bedroom were the noise came from. I heard a 'whoosh' sound to my left and I turn to see three Chitauri aliens, that I saw just minutes earlier on the news, flying past outside the window.
I stoped in my tracks and so did they. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed that the one closest to the building took a large blue glowing object and thew it right toward my direction.
I braced myself and felt the impact of the explosion grace every part of my small body; everything went to a standstill, including me, into to rubble of the broken building. I could still hear the screams of others in the building as my vision went dark and I slip out of consciousness.

I can feel my eyelids flutter open but I still can't see anything but black. I try to shift in the rubble enclosing my body but nothing seems to move and at this point the only feeling I could focus on was the burning pain and the overwhelming feeling of not knowing what happened to the only family I had left.
I lost all effort to try to escape and I close my eyes accepting my fate.
The burning in my chest only got worse the longer I lay there. When the pain got to agonizing to handle I lets out a dreadful scream and another explosion goes off but this time it went off even closer to me but i felt no pain and the burning of my body even stoped entirely.
I open my eyes to realized that I am no longer enclosed by the rubble of my old apartment building, but I am completely free from the wreckage.
The first thing I notice is was now dusk and that there is a blinding bright light near me that I had to fully adjust too in order to see.
When my vision wasn't spotty anymore I relies that the source of light was not a nearby object but was me. I hesitantly look down at my uncovered skin and see that I was unharmed and healed, besides my vains were glowing under my pale skin.
As i look at my hand and see lightning grazing my fingertips. While taking a deep breath I step backwards and stumble on the rubble underneath my feet.
I looked up to see another odd thing and that was it heavily snowing around me even thought it was the middle of spring.
As I hear a loud thud behind me, I turn to see a man in a metal suit who I knew was the famous Tony Stark.
He quickly notices me standing there and clicks open his mask so that his face is no longer covered.
"Hey kid, you alright?" he asks.
I don't answer.
He started to step closer and I stepped backward, "No don't came closer. I don't want to hurt you!"
He didn't stop walking towards me and I still try to keep my distance. "Wait, wait, you can't hurt me," he explained as he pointed to the suit he was wearing sheilding his body from me.
I stoped and stood there unmoving waiting for him to say something, but he never does. When he finally made it to were I stood he just stared at me in astonishment.
"Where is everyone?" I ask.
"Your the only one left."
