Delmar's Deli
October, 2016
This wasn't the first time Peter and me met up. He has done it at least five time since Germany, he either rants to me about his superhero problems or to tries to convince me to come with him on his nightly superhero petrol. I never did actually go out fighting with him yet. We still really didn't know each other too well, i'm pretty sure the only reason he talks to me at all is cause we both went through simpler experiences. I still haven't told him that I'm actually Tony starks adopted daughter or how I got my powers in the first place, though his favorite thing to do is telling me about himself.
Now i am standing behind Delmar's Deli in queens, still in the same clothes from school but the only difference was that I now had a ring on my middle finger that if I pressed the button on it would spread out over my body into my white super suit dad made me. There was a slight breeze in the air and the sun was slowly setting leaving behind a slight yellow in the sky. I been waiting for Peter to meet me, he was about 10 minute late.
There was rustling at the other side of the ally, just in case it wasn't Peter i stood in the shadows cover behind the large trash can. For about 30 seconds there was a erie silence.
"Sorry i'm late these people were yelling at-"
Out of reflex I turn twords the noice and shoot a bream of heat energy out of my hands in the directions of the voice. Right before i was about to aim again the red and blue figure becomes visible stuck up on top of the 2 story building right next to the hole I made in the brick wall.
"Parker you asshole! I almost just killed you!" I yelled.
"Wow that was cool, but stop yelling cause someone will find us," he shoosed me, after I was being a little riled up from the near death experience.
"Can you come down? I'm not gonna talk to you if you stuck on the side of the building." I ask as I walk back out from behind the trashcan.
"No... I'm going to take you somewhere. But you have to suit up first." He tells me and waits for me to respond.
"I already told you i'm not going to fight crime with you I don't do that anymore," I remind him.
"No, Not to fight just to talk in privet," He says and I give him a look so he adds, "wait that sounded wrong... not like that-"
"It's okay, I know what you mean," I smile as save him from embarrassment. Then I press the button on my ring and the thin white metal spreads around me including covering the upper half of my face with a mask, to finish off the disguise I turning my hair white blond and my eyes to gold "Okay, i'm ready. How long is it going to take to get there."
"Not to long if we walk," he says as he jumps down and walks next to of me.
"Why are we walking? You can swing from buildings and I can fly." I ask while I notice people giving us weird looks from the sidewalks.
"Cause walking funner and we can talk on the way," he pauses "umm, do you know why Happy won't pick up my calls I been trying like everyday for months and he won't answer, do you know why."
"I don't think Happy likes you very much," I guessed. A little girl and her mother walk passed and she point her tiny finger at us.
"And he likes you?" Peter question.
"Of course he does everyone likes me. Plus i've known him for like 3 years."
"3 years, since when have you know him for 3 years?" He questions.
"Yah, i've known most of the Avengers for years," I tell Peter right before he stops in front of a large building about 35 feet tall.
"Oh," is all he says. After a short pause he contines, "This is it."
