New York,
May 4, 2015-

It's been three years.

Today was celebrated as a day to remember the actions of Tony Stark and the rest of the Avengers that fought in the battle of new york, but today was a day I rather forget.

For me and the many others who had lost someone that tragic day we were suffocated with grief on a day when everyone else honored the day like it was a holiday. Forgetting about all the lives who passed away.

They built a cemetery were my old apartment once stood. One gravestone for every life. I went there to vist every once in awhile when I wasn't too scared to relive the emotions of that night.

I had just got there minutes ago after 'escapeing' the avengers tower. I'm just a t-shirt and jeans, with my red hair pulled up in a messy bun on the top of my head.

I stood there for a long moment just staring at the names carved on the grey stone.

'Charlene Belle Ambers,' 'Thomas Levi Ambers' and 'Charles Adam Ambers.'

I heard footsteps approaching me but I wasn't fazed because I already knew who it was.

"You didn't have to come."

"Why should I leave you to be miserable by urself?" Tony questioned as he stood next to me staring at the same thing I was.

"And what make you so miserable today, aren't you supposed to be partying or something?" I ask him knowing well enough that he always has somewhere to be or something to do, but whether or not he decides to attend is why he ends up having so much time on his hands.

"Well if my little girl is sad then i'm sad. And since when do I go to parties people throw for me." He assured me, while roll my eyes at the nickname. He turns towards me with a soft smile on his lips and then he gave me a comforting hug.

Tony took the role as father figure after my family died. More so when he and Pepper actually had to adopt me in order to keep S.H.E.I.L.D or any other organizations from using me as a weapon or to test and preform experiments on me. Though he choose not to change my name so no one knew my true identity as a Stark. I was a secret.

They had told me that when the explosion happened in 2012, high levels a radiation was detected in my blood stream similar to that of the tesseract.

Additionally to my combat skills taught to me by Natasha Romanoff, the tesseract gifted me with Atmokinesis, or also known as the power to manipulate weather.
Something that happened everytime I used my powers was my naturally Auburn hair would turn to a light blonde and my blue eyes would turn to a shade of gold.

"I need I mission, it will take my mind of things," I say as we break away from our embrace.

"Don't you remember what happened last time?" He asked in a half cocky tone.

"How could I forget." I blankly state as a small frown forms on my lips.

He was right. Despite all the training I had, I wasn't able to reach my full potential. I could not keep control which came with having too much power. To much fear, so much so that I entirely refrain from using my powers unless I was absolutely necessary.

I've just recently started going on missions, though Tony was not happy about it. Saying stuff like 'your to young' or 'i'm just trying to prortect you." But in the end he had to let me go because my powers were not to be wasted.

Its been two month since my last mission. It wasn't the first time I had a outburst. They told me that it was solo but sent in a group of agents after me anyway.

Flashback

I was to nervous, when they came upon me I was hurt and my communication device far to damaged to to get any word from the outside.

The 5 of them helped me take down the small hydra base.

A large group of them outnumbered us and caught us in the act.

While trying to fight them off, one of Hydra's caught my wrist in metal cuffs that prevented me from using my powers and I was helpless.

Using most my strength at once I exploded with power.

I was free from the cuff, but everything comes with a price. My powers I used to escape came in the form of lightning had electrocuted every single sole in that building good and bad. Killing then all.

Flashforward

"You can't keep me cooped up in that faculty forever, you know," I tell Tony.

"Yes, I can," he says.

"Well, then I'll just have to run away. Never to see you again," I say dramatically and my frown disappears.

"How could you security is so high in that place, you wouldn't be able to leave your room without the alarms going off." He adds as he intertwines his arm with mine and leads me away from the cemetery.

"They how did I get out then?" I question, even though I already knew the answer.

"I let you leave," he paused, "come on, let's go home."
