"May I sit?"
"Of course." Eric said between giggles.
She sat down next to him, and Juyeon sat across from her.
"We should introduce ourselves-"
"No need to, I know all of you. I know all of Juyeon's friends."
"So you and Juyeon aren't a couple?" Jaehyun asked.
"Juyeon and I are just best friends, he cares for me like a sister and I care for him like a brother. Right, Juyeon."
"I've told you guys that many times."
"We thought you were lying, I mean you guys are always together." Jaehyun responds.
"That's my fault, I'm a bit clingy."
"Clearly." Sunwoo huffs, earning a smack from Jacob.
"I'll be right back, I'm going to the bathroom." Juyeon said quickly, rushing toward the bathrooms.
"Well I'm glad we can finally meet, Juyeon talks about you a lot!"
"He talks about you guys a lot too, mainly Sunwoo though. Being that he knew I had a crush on him."
The whole table went silent for a quick second before giggles escaped all of them.
"I'm leaving?" Sunwoo stood up.
"Where are you going?" Seoyeon stood up as well.
"Class."
"Class doesn't start for another 10 minutes."
"Then I guess I'll just be early." He began to walk off.
"We have same class, I'll come too!"
Sunwoo let out a rough sigh, knowing had no way of winning.
"It was nice to meet you guys! See you later!" Seoyeon smiled, following Sunwoo who was already half way out of the cafeteria.
"I thought you couldn't talk." Sunwoo let out harshly.
"I've always been able to talk, just before I didn't want to."
"Can you "not want to" again." He voiced out.
"Sunwoo," she stopped in front him "you can play the 'mean' card all you want, but I know how kind and sincere you actually are. I understand that you're trying to make it clear to me but-"
Seoyeon froze, the sound of something dropping took her attention instantly. She looked at where the sound was coming from; behind her. She ran up to the person, helping them pick up their books.
"Are you okay?!"
"Yes, thank you." The boy smiled.
"Oh wait, you missed this." She said, grabbing a pen from the ground.
"Oops, thank you again." He blushed.
"Be careful next time, have you eaten?"
"Uh, no, I haven't."
"Really?! Um," she began to search her bag, "here, it's not much but still."
"Oh, really? Thank you!"
"You're welcome." She smiled, returning his smile.
"What's-" the boy was cut off when Seoyeon turned around to see Sunwoo beginning to walk off.
"Oh, I have to go! Make sure to eat, and drink water! See you around!" She waved.
"You didn't wait for me." She pouted.
"Did you know him." Sunwoo asked, not even looking at her.
"No, why? Are you jealous?" She poked his arm.
"Absolutely not. Why did you help him if you didn't even know if."
"I don't know. Do I need a reason"
"No, never mind."
Sunwoo began to pick up his pace, and Seoyeon followed his footsteps.
When the two got to class, Sunwoo sat in his normal seat while Seoyeon sat next to him for the time being.
"Crap," Seoyeon voiced aloud, making Sunwoo look at her, "I forgot to tell Juyeon I was leaving!"
Seoyeon pulled out her phone frantically and called Juyeon.
"Hey bean."
"Hello, what wrong?"
"I forgot to tell you I was going to class."
"The boys already told me!"
"Okay good, have a good gym class! Don't get into any trouble, okay."
"Okay, I won't"
"Promise?"
"Promise."
"You can't see, but I'm touching my wrist!"
"Me too"
"Bye bye!"
"Bye, Seo"
"What does that mean."
"Huh?" Seoyeon looked at Sunwoo.
"Touching your wrist."
Seoyeon leaned in close to Sunwoo, "I love you!"
Sunwoo quickly moved away.
"It means I love you." She leaned back, and repeated.
"You guys are really close. You care about him a lot." He said, monotony.
"Of course, he's my best friend. I always check up on him, he gets a text in the morning and night, and after every class. I have a bit of separation anxiety so if I don't I get a bit worried. If you want," she leaned forward again, "I can do the same with you!"
"I'll pass." He turned away.
"Are you sure, all I need is your number."
Sunwoo inhaled sharply, he was saved by the bell when a group of students walked in.
"Hmmph" Seoyeon huffed, standing up and going to her own seat.
After about 2 minutes, the class was filled and not long after, the professor walked in.
"Good afternoon class, I hope you didn't forget that we are starting our research presentation today. I'll be putting you in groups of two, there should be a research paper and a PowerPoint presentation on any planet of your choice. You'll be presenting the PowerPoint together, and I'll be grading both for a test grade."
A smiled formed on Seoyeon's face, she began to cross her finger. Hoping and praying she was partnered up with her crush.
"Heechan and Heojin, Sunwoo and," Seoyeon closed her eyes, fighting her crossed fingers, "Seoyeon."
Her eyes flashed open, jolting her head to Sunwoo who was rubbing his temple.
"I'll give you the rest of class to get to know your partner and begin your project." She smiled, leaving the class.
