"Who are you?"

Seoyeon instantly jumped, dropping the sponge that was in her hand. She looked up to see the older women from the pictures holding a bag and a suitcase.

"Uhh..." She froze.

"Are you Sunwoo's girlfriend?" Her eyes lit up, "Sunwoo has never brought his girlfriends home before! I-"

"Shh." Seoyeon pointed towards Sunwoo's sleeping figure. She definitely didn't want Sunwoo to wake up to her meeting someone close to him.

"Oh, come, follow me." The older women called.

Hesitantly, Seoyeon followed the women—whom led her to a large, what seemed to be the master's, room.

"So, how long have you been dating?" She says in excitement, closing the door behind her words.

"Huh, oh we aren't dating." The two sat on the king's sized bed.

"What? That's not possible! Sunwoo has dated many, many women—No offense to him—but never once has he brought the girl home."

"I swear, I'm not his girlfriend. I'm just his astronomy partner!"

"Still, Sunwoo wouldn't bring a girl home. Especially around the time I get home."

"Maybe he forgot," she shrugs, "Sunwoo isn't exactly fawned of me, I confessed-"

"You confessed?!" She placed her hands in Seoyeon's lap.

"Uh, yeah," she laughed nervously, "I've liked him since high school, but I didn't have the courage until this morning."

"High school?! Wow that's so romantic!"

Seoyeon giggled to herself, looking down to her lap.

"Oh my goodness! I forgot to introduce myself!" The women clapped her hands, "I'm Sunwoo's mom! You can call me Ms. Kim, or you can call me mother-in-law!"

"I'm Seoyeon!" She returned Ms.Kim's smile.

"I'll call you daughter-in-law." She joked.

"Okay." Seoyeon said between laughs.

"You're so pretty," she cupped her face, "and you cleaned up Sunwoo's big mess. God, I don't even wanna know how messy it was. When I get back from business trips, it always is a pigsty! He's alone for one week, and thinks that the messy magically disappears!"

"Alone?"

"Ah, yes. Sadly, I'm divorced- actually I'm happily divorced. But, it is unfortunate that when I'm business trips, Sunwoo has to stay alone. And of course the fact that his sister lives all the way in Japan with his dad."

Seoyeon laughed at how open his mother was, she talked over herself and was full of energy.

The two talked comfortably with each other, exchanging stories and laughing at different things Sunwoo did.

"Mom?" A tired voice interrupted.

The two's attention went straight to the door, Sunwoo stood rubbing his eyes.

"Good morning dear, or should I say good night."

When Sunwoo finally stopped rubbing his eyes, they widened.

"Seoyeon? Why are you still here?!" Seoyeon smiled awkwardly to him.

"She wouldn't be still here if you didn't fall asleep on her! You should also be thanking her!" His mother put her hands on her hips.

"Why would I thank her?!"

"Because she cleaned your mess you nasty pig."

"It wasn't even that messy!" Sunwoo yelled.

"You say thank you right now!"

"No! I didn't even ask her to do it!" Sunwoo crossed his arms.

Ms. Kim took off her slipper and through it at Sunwoo.

"Ow!"

"Thank.you."

Sunwoo huffed before looking at Seoyeon, "thank you Seoyeon for cleaning up for me."

Seoyeon smiled at Sunwoo's new personality, "no worries, cleaning is a huge stress reliever for me so I enjoyed it."

"See she enjoyed it!"

"It doesn't matter! You made my daughter-in-law wait an hour!"

"Wait what? Did you just say daughter-in-law?"

"Yes, I decided Seoyeon is my new future daughter-in-law. You really shouldn't have rejected her, she literally perfect. She funny, smart, gorgeous, 10x better than all those other girls."

"You haven't even met my exes before!" Sunwoo furrowed his brow.

"So? I know a good girlfriend when I see one. And here's one right in front of you!" She lightly pushed Seoyeon closer to him.

"I'm not gonna date Seoyeon!" He said sternly, but was quickly stopped when his mother hit him on the side of his head.

"Don't be rude." She glared, "he's just dumb, Seoyeon. He'll learn in some time, for now let's go to dinner! Tteokbokki?"

Though she had tteokbokki for dinner yesterday, she didn't mind it again—it was her favorite after all.

"Sure-"

"What?! Why is she coming?" Sunwoo whined.

"Because I invited her! Now go wash the saliva off your face!"

Sunwoo huffed, before leaving the room.

"He acts completely different than at school." Seoyeon giggled.

"Does he act like he's all tough?" Seoyeon nodded, "he acts like it, but I promise he's a big baby at heart."
