Seth sat next to jay, " I'm sorry about yesterday, I shouldn't have asked that question," Seth said quietly "I wasn't thinking and I just said the first thing that came to my mind". Jay turned his phone off and sighed, "We should go home, it's late and the park is closing soon" jay said as he got up and began to walk. Seth followed, but they didn't talk on the way home, they just walked and enjoyed each other's company.
the next morning Seth and jay were woken up by a loud knocking on the door, jay looked at his watch, it was 7 in the morning. jay opened the door, it was jeff, the person who lived in the house next door, " hey," jeff sounded tired "jack asked me to come out here and ask if the person who has been staying here is Seth". "yeah, it is, why" jay squinted at jeff, "relax man," jeff stepped back "I wasn't the one who wanted to know" and with that, jeff walked off, jay closed the door and walked to the kitchen where Seth was making coffee for the both of them," who was that?" Seth asked sounding as tired as jeff did, "it was jeff, apparently jack wanted to know if you were alive" jay said just before another loud knock came from the entry room, jay knew exactly who it was.I like this chapter, it's pretty short, but I like it.
