"and the dream ends there every time" jay was seated next to Seth's grave " it always ends with me standing on a counter, screaming at a spider"
jay visits Seth whenever he gets the chance, just so he can ramble about dreams he has had and other things. jay can tell that Seth is listening, but is unable to communicate with jay.
Tim keeps telling him to stop visiting because it's weird, but jay refuses to listen to him. Jay can't afford therapy and visiting his dead best friend is free so he chose the latter option.
10 years after the crash, even after jay, Tim, and brian moved on....kind of, they still visited Seth every weekend in October.
Still completely oblivious to the dangers that lurked just outside of their small town.
but it's watching.
book 2 might exist soon because cliffhangers aren't fun.
