Tzuyu

"Let me help you." I reached for the eggs at her side and break each one for the omelette. I can't really tell if she's disappointed with me for hiding Seojun or-

"Forgive my son for being such a fool. I am glad you took care of your child for a long time." I looked at her and she's smiling. I guess she's not mad.

"I am the one who should be sorry, I hid Seojun for-" she cut me off and held my face.

"I understand you." I didn't know that simple words could make me smile and cry for a second. Jungkook's mom has always been soft to me and I am so thankful for that.

She got back to chopping the ingredients for japchae.

"Did you know? I don't even like that Lisa, she's so arrogant." we both laughed together as we cook our lunch and Jungkook was looking at us suspiciously.

"Lunch is ready." Seojun and Jungkook stood up and go straight to the dining room. I noticed that Kaylee isn't talking to me that much and she's staying in her room more often.

I knocked the door on her room and opened it.

"Kaylee?" I saw her sitting at the edge of the bed with her palm on her face.

"Are you okay?" She wiped his tears and smiled at me.

"I'm good" that was a fake smile, I knew in just one glance. Kaylee is like a sister for me and I cannot handle seeing her like this.

"Tell me what's the problem" I caressed her back and let her talk.

"My mom... she got sick and no one is there to take care of her." I felt the guilt and sadness in her voice.

"Do you want to go home for a while?" she looked at me.

"But Seojun.."

"He's good here." I smiled at her and hugged her for some comfort. This kid..

"I will process all your needs and I will also help for your mom's needs okay? But for now let's eat okay?" she nodded and wiped her tears.

I got out of her room as she said she'll be fixing her face first. I saw them there sitting and laughing together. Seojun is also giggling like a cute little toddler, I didn't even noticed my tears.

"Tzuyu." Jungkook's mom pat the space beside her and I wiped my tears. As I sat down, Jungkook looked at me.

"Why are you crying again?" he wiped the tears on my face pat my head. This guy..

Kaylee got out of her room with a smile and sat down beside Seojun. We ate together and I think that was one of the best day of my life. I just hope mom and dad is here too.

As we eat, Jungkook's mom can't stop telling embarrassing stories about Jungkook to Seojun and Seojun keeps laughing at every word she says.

Jungkook keeps complaining but that doesn't stop her mom from talking.

I washed the dishes as we finished eating and I suddenly felt hands on my waist.

It was Kookie.

"I miss you." I looked at him so confused. So I splash bits of water on him.

"Bad spirit, who are you? Why did you possess Jungkook?" I laughed joking him and everything was fun not until he grabbed me closer to him.

"I ain't possessed. This is Jungkook years ago." and everything from the past came back to my mind and my cheeks blushed as I remember that day.

"I-I was just joking." I tried to escape from him but his grip was too strong.

His face got closer and closer so I closed my eyes but then.. I felt his lips on my forehead.

"I love you." he said.

"I love you too, kookie."

Jungkook

"Eomma, I'll come back here later. I just need to go somewhere." I hugged her and bid my goodbye to Seojun and Tzuyu.

I borrowed Tzuyu's car for a while and drove to Seoul District Police. Yes, I'll be visiting Jaehyun and Lisa.

"This way Mr. Jeon." They brought me to Jaehyun first since he was much better to talk to first.

"Jungkook.." I can't look at him on the eyes. Is he really the friend I met years ago?

"I'm sorry for all the things I did Jungkook, please say sorry for me to Tzuyu also. I didn't know what happened to me. I'm..." he stopped talking and looked down.

"You're what?" I said keeping myself calm.

"I'm just blinded by love. I was Jealous everytime I see both of you together. I liked her." he said while he's fiddling his fingers and looking down.

"I will forgive you but don't expect us to go back to the old us." I stood up and turned around but as I was walking away he said something that made me stop walking.

"Thank you, Jungkook."

I continued to walk again. It hurts to hear that from him but I am also glad that I can have a peace of mind after this.

They brought me next to Lisa and she's sitting there also looking down. I won't expect her to apologize because she's like a psycho.

I sat down infront of her and the silence surrounded us for a while until I talked.

"Did you know the mess you have done?" I looked at her and I want to yell because she's not answering me but I must keep my cool.

"I did that because of you!" I sarcastically laughed at her and glared.

"You're obsessed."

"No! I loved you!" she stood up and stomped her feet on the ground.

"Love is something genuine Lisa, not like this. If you love me, you need to let go." she sighed.

"I... I'm letting you go." she cried, I admit. I loved her but my love for her is not as strong as my love for Tzuyu, no one can love her like I do.

"Thank you Lisa. I hope you find someone soon." I turn around to leave and my heart feels so much lighter than before. I finally have the peace of mind that I wanted and to make things right, I drove to a jewelry store and searched for the perfect ring for Tzuyu.

I found a rose gold ring with a small diamond on it and I knew it was the one.

"This one please, size 7"

It's finally the time to make things right.
