-(2 Days Later)-

(Tifa's POV)

I held Aerith's hand tightly as we ran down the pathway towards sector seven slums. I honestly wanted to stop and take a breather, but I knew if I did me and Aerith would get caught.

For the past two days, Shinra guards were found almost everywhere around the slums. Weapons and guard dogs with them, and asking anyone they could about Avalanche. Because of this, Barret has told us to stay inside and don't go out too much, Aerith and (Y/N) visited as well...

However, just this morning, Shinra has been tying to find them. I ended up going to Aerith house, sense (Y/N) was already at Seventh Heaven, to bring Aerith. Sadly she had to leave her mother behind though, at first Aerith was opposed to the idea of leaving her. But after a talk with her mother, Aerith had decided to come with me.

"We're almost there!" I cried, as I cut through the crowd and straight towards Seventh Heaven. I then kicked the door open, before slamming it shut again.

"There you two are, was getting worried over here." Barret said, as I released my grip on Aerith's hand.

"Sorry, some of them almost got us but luckily we got away."

"Fucking hell man, why does Shinra always gotta do shit like this." Jessie growled, scratching her head.

"Oi turkey, do you know what the hells going on?" Barret asked, looking at (Y/N).

"No...from what I can tell though, it seems one of the higher ups really want your heads. This is a lot of soilders just for you guys." 

"So, what the hell are we gonna do? They gonna find this place soon enough." Biggs asked, looking out the window.

"Nothing else we can do but run...."

Then all of a sudden, someone started to knock on the door.  We all turned towards it, preparing ourselves for the worst. I slowly walked towards the door, holding my breath as I did so.

"Sorry, We're closed-," But before I could finish the door was busted open and a few men and a woman walked inside before closingbthe door behind them.

"Jeez, you made us work hard trying to find you guys." The man in the middle said, shaking his head.

"R-Rufus?" (Y/N) asked, making all the attention go to him.

"Hello (Y/N), I should say well done. You found the people we have been looking for."

"YOU BASTARD, I KNEW YOU WEREN'T ON OUR SIDE!" Barret yelled, about to shoot. But then, the red haired man stopped Barret by kicking his arm away.

"Oh no sir, not today." He grinned.

"Yes not today, you see I'm not here to kill you but to help."

"LIKE HELL YOU ARE! YOUR DAMN FATHER IS THE DAMN PRESIDENT OF SHINRA! NO WAY IN HELL YOU A GOOD GUY!" 

"Woah woah, calm yourselves please, unless you wanna get overheard from the soilders outside." Barret growled at Rufus as he said that.

"Rufus...I'm sorry but I'm not gonna let you hurt these people." (Y/N) grabbed his sword, and aimed it and Rufus.

"Hold up, you should listen (Y/N)...please." the woman behind Rufus replied. (Y/N) stared at her for a few seconds before slowly lowering his sword.

"Good, now this may seem kindnof rushed but I'll explain more on the way. Basically I'm not too much of a fan of my father, or the methods he used to keep our company in power. It honestly disgusted me, knowing the man doing all those terrible things was my own father.."

Rufu's eyes had some kind of...emptiness...as if something in him was missing.

"So I decided to leave Shinra, thinking that the longer I stay away the easier I could forget. BUT while I was away...I learned a vital peice of information that changed me..." he then turned towards (Y/N) with a sincere look in his eyes now.

"I learned that I had a brother..."

There was silence, it was as if the entire rooms attention was now on (Y/N) and his shocked expression.

"My younger brother...who was a turk for a year and a half...but I never knew. That's why I thought about saving you...so that you wouldn't have to be  in that hell anymore. That's when I also learned that you had friends, and now I wish to help you and your friends get to safety." Rufus started walking towards (Y/N), who staggered backwards as he came closer.

"I-I-,"

"I'm sure you don't understand..thinking that I'm lying. BUT I promise you everything I'm saying is real, and I truly wish to help you. I promise after we find somewhere safe, I'll tell you everything." He placed his hand on (Y/N)'s shoulder making him flinch.

"Please (Y/N)...can you trust me?"

"I-,"

Then all of a sudden the sounds of stomping footsteps outside were heard. "We need to leave now!" Rufus said, running to the back of the bar. I glanced at Barret, he didn't know exactly what to do at this moment. I clenched his shoulder making him turn to me, I then tried to look at him wih my most determined expression.

Let's trust him for now, we need to get everyone safe

I thought to myself  hoping the message passed through to Barret. Barret's expression then softened and he nodded, as he titled his head towards Rufus. Everyone followed him as I ran upstairs to Marlene's room, as I opened the door she was still sleeping soundly in her bed. I scooped her up gently and ran down the stairs after everyone else.

The moment I went outside, I was greeted by a huge helicopter that was being piloted by one of the Turks Rufus came with. (Y/N) noticed me and grabbed Marlene from me and placed her gently next to Barret. Then as he was about to reach out for me, the sounds of men yelling came closer.

I quickly jumped for (Y/N)'s hand and gripped it tightly as the helicopter lifted higher in the sky. I looked down to see a troop of Shinra soilders looking up at us, trying their best to shoot us but it was too late. We were too high up to be able to get shot at.

(Y/N) then lifted me up, and I somehow got placed right on his lap....

I felt my face get hot as I stood up and sat down next to him instead. 

"Alright then, Rude get us the hell out of here." Rufus said to the man in front. Rude hen nodded and increased speed. I looked out at the view and was shocked to see all of Midgard....it was pretty from above..

Then as we passed the border of Midgard, I continued to look out at the view until Midgard was nothing more then a speck in the horizon...
