A Requited Love (Kiji Mitsuba x Reader)

You had just woken up from a good sleep, got out of bed, and did your morning routine.You made some toast and coffeee for breakfast. While eating, you had thought of Kiji and got excited to see him.

After you finished eating, you walked up to the mirror and checked to see if your outfit is perfect for the day. Hearing Kiji compliment you is the best thing in the world.

You grabbed your things and some of the work you did last night and went out of your room. While walking down the hallway, you heard a door open and saw that it was Seitarou, your colleague, smiling.

"Good morning, Seitarou-kun! You're looking bright today. Excited?"

"Ehehe. Good morning [Y/N]-kun, you can tell, huh? Yeah, pretty excited for the day. I got Yamato-san to get me some cake today at the shopping center. I hope he don't get lost," he said, scratching the back of his neck

"Hahahah, I see. I hope he don't get lost too. Enjoy your cake, Seitarou-kun!"

"Thanks!" he waved and left.

You continued to walk and stopped when you arrived infront of Kiji's door. He's only 7 doors away from yours so it was pretty close. As you were about to knock on his door, you saw the knob turn so you stepped back for a bit.

The door is now completely open and you see the ever-so-glamorous Kiji. Being the queen that he is, he never fails to look gorgeous every second of the day.

"Oh, [Y/N], I knew you'd be here soon, nice timing, me. Hahahaha," he giggled. You blushed.

Every little thing Kiji do makes you want to hug him and kiss him. Yes, that's how inlove you are with him. But you just smiled and said,

"Good morning, Kiji-san. I hope you're not running late today," you said as you entered the room.

"How long?"

"20 minutes. It takes 10 minutes to get there so I'd say you have 5 minutes left. Have you had breakfast?"

"No, sorry."

Your forehead scrunched up. You've been telling him to eat breakfast more often but he doesn't listen to you and mostly he's just too focused on his appearance when getting ready. You've got no problem with it though.

"Nothing we can do about it. I'll make you hot cocoa when we get there."

"Waaah, you're so sweet. That's my darling. Now, let's go."

You blushed when he said you're his darling.

He got his Prada bag and gestures you to go out the door first. After he finished locking it, you both walked down the hallway and headed off to the train station.

On the ride to your destination, Kiji notices your outfit.

"Your outfit today looks horrible."

What he said shocked you. Having to get ready in the morning just for him and is hard and he doesn't even like it. Still, you didn't take it too personally so you jokingly made a crying face instead and looked away from him.

"Stupid Kiji," you muttered.

"Wait, are you really crying? I'm sorry, I was just joking. You look absolutely gorgeous today," he said as he tried to make you turn towards him.

You laughed at him for being nervous when you almost started crying. You turned to see him pouting.

'Omg he's so cute I wanna cry', you thought.

He turned to look at you only to see you doing your best-ever puppy eyes. He can't get mad at you when you do that.

A few moments later, you arrived at both of your stations.
