Chapter 15: Away

Dan's pov
I don't know what's up with Adrain! He's normally not this shy. I knock on his door.
"Who is it?" he asks.
"It's Dan!" I say.
He opens the door.
"Is anyone with you?" he asks.
"No just me." I say.
"Good." he says.
I walk in.
"Adrain what's up with you?" I ask.
"What do you mean?" he says.
"I thought you would be excited to meet Hayley." I say.
"Sorry it's just that ghost girl." he says.
"There's no ghost. You were just hallucinating because of mom dieing I think." I say.
"Okay..." he says unsure.
"Look don't worry! Be happy about this, okay?" I say.
"Okay." he says.
Hayley's pov
I go into Adrain's room. He was sitting on his bed with Dan.
"Hey dad I need your help." I say.
"Dad?" Adrain says.
"Well he is my dad." I say.
"Oh right." he says.
"Can you ask your mom?" Dan asks.
"Ugh. Fine. You're making do too much work!" I say.
Dan chuckles and I swear I saw Adrain smile.
"MOM I NEED YOUR HELP!!" I yell.
I heard laughing from Adrain's room. Maybe he'll like me after all...
Adrain's pov
I think Hayley is pretty cool. She's amazing to be honest. It's just I swear sometimes I can hear her talking to herself. Maybe she's talking to that ghost?! No Dan said I was hallucinating.....right? Whatever. I walked out of my room and into the living room. Hayley was in her laptop and so was Dan. Avery was making dinner and Luke was in his high chair thing. Then I saw the ghost girl.
"T-There she is!!" I say.
She looks at me and gasps. She quickly disappears.
"There was no one there." Avery says.
"Yes there I swear!" I say.
"It's all in your head." Dan says.
Hayley looks at me sympathetically. She shakes her head and looks back at her laptop.
Clary's pov (too many pov's)
I disappeared into Phil's flat.
"Whoops." I say.
Phil walks in with a little girl. He sees me and waves. The little girl stares at him confused.
"Go play Alexa." he says.
The girl named Alexa walks away.
"So what are you doing here?" he asks me.
"I have to stay away from Adrain." I say.
"Dan's little brother is here?" he asks.
"Yep." I say.
"Why didn't he tell me!" Phil says.
"Relax. I didn't even know he had a brother until a couple days ago!" I say.
"Okay..." he says.
We chatted for a bit. Then Faith came in.
"Phil who are you talking too?" she asks.
"Oh...um no one don't worry!" he says.
"Okay." she says.
Then they kiss.
"Ew!" I say and go away.
