Hayley's pov
I walk into the room.
"Hi!" I say.
"Hey." Clary says.
We sat there in an awkward silence.
"Hey do you wanna watch a movie?" I ask.
"Sure which one?" Dan asks.
I put on a evil grin.
"No....not-" Dan says.
"THE FAULT IN OUR STARS!!!" I yell.
Dan puts on the movie. I sat next to Dan and Clary. Clary started to cry from the movie and I did too. Avery did also. When the movie ended I saw Dan crying.
"Dan are you crying?" Avery says laughing a little.
"No...I just have something in my eye." he says.
"Yeah....tears." Clary says.
I laughs.
"Ha ha very funny." Dan says sarcastically.
"Sorry Dan!" Clary says and she hugs him.
"I'm gonna go to bed. I'm super tired." I say.
"Okay goodnight!" Clary says.
Clary's pov
Avery leaves to check on Luke. It was just me and Dan.
"So you and Avery are married?" I ask.
"Yeah." Dan says.
"I can't believe I missed so much things in four years!" I say frustrated.
"Clary don't be mad..." he says.
"I have to be! Dan I should've never left you for Hayley! I should've stayed your guardian angel!" I say.
He pulls me into a hug. I rest my head on his chest.
"If it weren't for you Hayley would've never been adopted, and I wouldn't have realized that I needed you in my life." he says.
"I guess so....." I say.
"Listen Clary no matter what choices you make they'll always be okay." he says.
"Thanks Dan." I say.
"You're welcome." he says.A/N: (Play this to the tune of Shake it off) I'M JUST GONNA READ READ READ READ READ...READ A BOOK, READ A BOOK!!(Stop playing this to the tune of Shake wit Off.)
