Akaashi has read every entry in the journal and it really made him open his eyes.
Walking along the cobble path to the lake that he has come to love, Akaashi spots the tiny duck from before. He smiles, "I'll name you puddles." The duck quacks in agreement and takes the bread from Akaashi's hand gratefully.
The walk to the lake is calm and serene. Akaashi loves to look at all the scenery, the red birds are his favorite. Ever since he read Koutarou's journal, he's been thinking a lot. The thought of loving someone so much you kill yourself, is truly astonishing. Keiji was Koutarou's life. He couldn't live without him. With the journal tucked securely under his arm he continues on his way until he runs into something, or someone.
"Oh I'm terribly sorry." Akaashi apologizes picking up his journal, only to find it's not his due to the word "Keiji" carved on the cover.
The strangers golden eyes meet Akaashi's blue ones and they both, they remember their past life.
Akaashi's eyes linger on his hair which does indeed remind him of the Sunday paper.
"You found me" Akaashi whispers.
"I found you." Koutarou smiles.
