CHAPTER SEVEN: i love you

"You guys see that? That's the Malibu 24-MXZ, the world's finest wakesetter. Number one in luxury, quality, and performance. 200K, easy." JJ explained as we passed a super nice boat.

"We picked the wrong parents." Pope agreed.

"I hate to break it to you guys, but that's Topper and his girlfriend." Kiara sighed.

I was sitting down in the back not paying attention to them, reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

"You don't have to act like you don't see us, bitch." Kiara said loud enough for the blonde girl to hear her. She rolled her eyes then sat at the front of the boat.

I quickly turned around and waved at Sarah, she waved back then placed her sun glasses on her face. Kiara scoffed.

"Kie. Really?" i said closing my book.

She just rolled her eyes and turned around.

"Okay whatever." i opened my book and continued reading.

The pogues dropped me off at my dock in front my my grandparents house and i hopped out.

"I'm sorry i can't come with you guys. My grandparents made plans." i sighed feeling bad that i couldn't help them with the search.

"It's okay." everyone said, not all at the same time.

JJ walked over and hugged my thighs, considering that's where his level was because of the height of the dock.

"Come on J. Let's roll."

"Love you B."

"Love you too."

"See you guys later."

They all waved as they drove away in to boat.

I walked up the long dock and through my back door.

"Grandma? Grandpa?" i called out for them. "Anyone?"

No one answered so i pulled my phone out of my back pocket and called them.

"Hello?"

"Hey grandma! I just got home. Where are y'all?"

"Good. Good. We were out doing some stuff for Mid Summers, which is coming up soon so you need to pick out a dress."

"Yes ma'am." i sighed. "I still can't believe they are throwing a party when John B doesn't even have power yet."

"I know sweetie, it sucks, but there's nothing we can't do about it."

"Yes ma'am i know."

"Sarah should be home next door about now. Get ready for the day and head over there. We will be home shortly."

"Yes ma'am love you ."

"Love you."

I hung up the phone and walked upstairs. I turned the cold bedroom door knob and walked in. I walked over to my dresser and pulled out a new bra and underwear. I walked over to my closet next and pulled out a hair of half white, half black shorts and one of Rafe's shirts that i stole awhile back. I laid my out fit on my bed and walked into my bathroom, that was connected to my room. I pulled back the shower curtain and tuned the knobs to the right temperature. I took out my phone and shuffled One Direction, the first song that played was She's Not Afraid. I slipped my clothes off and hopped in the shower. After a much needed bathe i hopped out and walked into my room wrapped in a towel and out my phone on the charger. I slipped on my outfit and some white high-top converses.
