New Home, New Problems??

Mckayla walked the halls of their home toward the kitchen, they were on Cybertron, it has been a few months since they left Earth.

Orion's party was a success, Orion was surrounded by friends and family, they had the party at a arcade that was new in town, since of course they couldn't have it at the base, and Mckayla and Optimus's other home that they had to look like somewhat normal people and parents, they had already sold it. 

After the party and Miko having brutally murdered a piñata, Orion and his friends went out and did whatever 16 year old boys did, Elita and Melody and Johnathan went to a friends house, and they all agreed to be home before 10 PM, so that they all could get some rest before the big move in the morning.

All was left was the team and Mckayla and Optimus, the team said they were going to keep an eye on the kids while Optimus and Mckayla left to go do something.

Mckayla was not sure what surprise Optimus had in mind, but he took her to their old drive-thru theater where they had their date and where he proposed, they had a lovely night, driving and talking and Optimus had Mckayla do whatever she wanted since it was her last night on Earth.

Mckayla wanted to see her old school one last time, and grab some dinner at her favorite restaurant and then go on top of the base and look at the stars, as Mckayla and Optimus looked at the stars, they looked at each other, they were going to miss Earth, this has been Optimus's home for years and to Mckayla this was the only home she ever knew, but they knew that they would be back one day.

Later the kids and the team came back and they all said goodnight and went to bed, morning was probably the hardest thing they all had to do, not the packing, or selling their stuff, or cleaning out their rooms in the base, it was saying goodbye to their other half of their team, the most important half, Miko, Jack, Raph and Mrs. Darby and Agent Fowler.

Ratchet decided to stay behind which shocked everyone, Ratchet staying on Earth? But it seemed that he got to use to Earth and he wanted to stay with the kids, well they weren't really kids anymore.

After a long tearful goodbye, McKayla thanked her friends for everything, they were the siblings she never had, there were her family. She said goodbye and thank you to Mrs. Darby and Agent Fowler for everything.

She thanked Ratchet and even gave him a hug and he hugged her back simply saying "Take care of them and the little one".

 Mckayla made it to the kitchen and was looking in the fridge, she was having her midnight cravings, since she was three months pregnant now, she glanced at the clock that she hang in the kitchen.

  2:30 AM.

She groaned as she tried to think of what time it was on Cybertron, she and the kids have been studying Cybertron culture for years when they were on Earth it was still pretty confusing but luckily Optimus was patient and helpful.

Their home was programmed to shrink or expand when ever they were in their robot or human form which was useful, since it was part of Mckayla's survival and part of the kids as well.

In the fridge was energon, human food could not survive on Cybertron, they had to live on energon which wasn't a problem, but they were creative and made Energon make look like human food, to make it more fun.

Mckayla grabbed two energon cubes and some liquid energon, as she closed the fridge Optimus was standing there looking at her, with his arms crossed and a smirk on his face.

"What?" Mckayla asked as she started to nibble at one of the cubes. "We're hungry".

Optimus chuckled and went toward her and kissed her forehead, "I have forgotten how hungry you were when you were pregnant".

 "Well I do eat a lot even when not pregnant, but now I have an excuse". She smiled mischievously

Optimus smiled and grabbed the cubes and her drink and placed them on the island and hugged her, "I love you".

Mckayla smiled and hugged him back "I love you too darling".

Optimus let her go and then knelt down and placed his head on her stomach "Don't worry I love you too little one". 

"I still think it's going to be a girl". 

"No a boy definitely". McKayla replied

"Well I guess we will find out it 6 months". Optimus jumped up and wrapped his arms around her and spun her around 

"Optimus!" McKayla laughed but then covered her mouth.

Optimus froze and waited, no noise, the kids were still asleep, Optimus chuckled softly as McKayla sighed in relief.

"May I join you in your midnight snacking my love?"

"Of course".

As Optimus set Mckayla down, suddenly bright lights shined in the kitchen, Optimus covered his eyes slightly and McKayla turned around

"Is that Bumblebee?" She asked as she tried to get a good look

Optimus quickly ran to the sliding glass doors, McKayla followed, Bumblebee was in his vehicle mode.

"Optimus! You need to come to the prison, it's an emergency!"

"What's the matter Bumblebee?" Optimus asked

"You'll see! Please hurry!" Bumblebee drove off, Optimus changed into his alt mode

"Let me come with you Optimus!" Mckayla shouted before he drove off

"You stay here my love, take care of the children, I'll send some patrol to watch you and the house".

"I can take care of myself you know".

"I know my love, but I don't know what the situation is yet and I don't want you or the children in danger, please Mckayla for me?"

Mckayla nodded "Please come home soon Optimus".

"I promise".

Optimus drove off and Mckayla watched until he disappeared into the distance, she went back into the house and closed and locked the sliding glass doors.

Suddenly she felt a hand cover her mouth, she panicked and kicked but then the intruder threw her on the ground and she hit her head, as she started to blackout, she could have sworn she saw the intruder have a Decepticon symbol on his shoulder luminating in the dark.....
