Dating and Danger

As the weeks passed and them being terrible at hiding their "secret" and being very obvious. Everyone found out, everyone was so excited, but Miko was the most excited, for she shipped McKayla and Optimus since day one, Ratchet was happy for them, but didn't show it very well.

McKayla and Optimus tried to hang out as much as possible but with Decepticon activity suddenly showing up and more and more energon mines being found, it was hard.

But McKayla always made time for the others too, Jack, Miko, Raph and she would spend time playing games, watching TV, doing homework, dancing, being in Miko's weird band, fun stuff.

But at night when everyone was charging and the rest of the gang gone home, she would stay up and meet Optimus outside, Optimus soon showed up and transformed into his alt form, his holoform jumped out and walked to her, she smiled and got up, they hugged and kissed, Optimus was kissing her neck and cheeks.

"Optimus!" She laughed trying to pull away.

"I missed you". He smiled and chuckled.

"I know I did too".

"How was your day?"

"Ugh you know school, and everyone is talking about graduation and college, but all in all it was a good day".

"Will you go to college?" Optimus asked.

"I don't know... thinking about it, but I'll figure it out". She smiled.

Optimus nodded and picked her up bridal style, she laughed and wrapped her arms around him.

"These last few weeks have been... amazing". Optimus smiled brightly and looked at her with love in his eyes. 

"Yes, these have been the best weeks of my life". McKayla replied.

Optimus suddenly looked very tired and set her down, she quickly took him to the truck, and he turned back into his normal mode, he knelt down and put his servo on the ground.

McKayla jumped on and they headed back to base, he went to his berth room, and she went to her room they bid each other goodnight and Optimus fell asleep with a grin on his face.

The next day...

McKayla woke up and heard a noise, and quickly jumped out of bed and went to the middle of the base. Everyone was getting ready go through the bridge, her being half awake and her bed head a mess, she waved goodbye and blew a kiss to Optimus, which made him smile and almost stumble, he thought she looked so cute when she just woke up. She laughed as she saw him stumble. Miko, Jack and Raph waved goodbye as the Autobots went toward the bridge and went through.

Optimus's point of view

I went through with my fellow comrades. I felt strange. But it was a good feeling; I haven't felt this way in 9 million years.

I couldn't believe that it happened to me again, and plus with a human, it was different, but I loved McKayla with all of my spark, but I haven't told her that, "I should when I get back".  I thought.

She deserves to know, and I have to tell her.

"Optimus!" Arcee whispered loudly.

I stopped as Arcee's voice snapped me back into reality, I quickly hid and peeked behind the rock, Decepticons were everywhere, they raided the mine and were taking what they found and loading them on a ship.

"How many are there?" Bulkhead asked.

"Too many". I replied.

Bumblebee beeped meaning he asked if we could take them.

"No, we must head back". I answered.

"But Optimus!" Arcee exclaimed.

"It's too risky Arcee, call for a bridge". I commanded.

Bumblebee whirled in shock, I looked to see what he was looking at and my eyes widened.

Jack, Miko, Raph and McKayla were sneaking into the mine.

McKayla's point of view

"Guys! We need to get out of here!" McKayla yelled trying to catch up.

"Relax we're fine!" Miko yelled back as she was running and climbing.

"McKayla's right Miko, this was a bad idea!" Jack agreed as he tried to catch up as well.

"Miko why did you pull us into this!?" Raph groaned.

"Because we need more action in our lives!"

"Like hanging out with Autobots isn't enough action?!" McKayla exclaimed.

Miko suddenly stopped and gasped, Jack, Raph and McKayla finally caught up and they all saw what she saw, it was a relic, it was long and looked like some sort of scepter, and it was huge.

"Whoa". McKayla whispered, Miko went towards it and carefully touched it, it then shrunk to her size,

"Awesome!" Miko exclaimed as she started swinging it.

"Miko! Put that down you don't know what it does!" Jack yelled trying to grab it from her.

"Miko!" Jack groaned, Jack then grabbed it and started tugging it from Miko, but Miko pulled it back.

"Hey stop that!" Miko growled as Jack pulled harder.

"Miko!" Jack yelled as he pulled even harder, suddenly Jack yanked it out her hands and they both fell, something blue shot out of it, bounced off a wall and hit McKayla.

Everyone gasped, McKayla, slowly fell to her knees, she started to turn blue.

"McKayla!" Miko, Jack and Raph yelled, suddenly Vehicons came in and started shooting, everyone ran and dodged as fast as they could.

McKayla snapped out of it and saw that the Vehicons were attacking, she crouched and ran behind a rock and tried to get to the exit, but they saw her and shot at her, she started to go back deeper into the mine, then she hit her head on the ceiling, she groaned and touched her head.

She gasped "What!?" She felt metal and then she looked at her hands they weren't hands, they were servos!

"McKayla!" She turned around and saw the Vehicons surrounding her and her friends, they were up against a wall awaiting their doom, the Vehicons were pointing their blaster at her, she froze.

And then her hand as if by instinct turned into a blaster, she then pointed and shot the Vehicons, they fell to the ground and the others leaving her friends, started to run toward her.

"Run!" She yelled, she started shooting and then her other hand turned into another blaster, McKayla shot as many as she could, but more and more were coming.

One shot her in the arm, she yelled in pain as more and more blasts were hitting her body, she crawled behind a rock and cried softly.

"This is it". She whispered as she felt energon gushing out of her, then suddenly she heard Arcee yelling.

"Bulkhead watch out!" She peeked behind the rock and saw the Autobots shooting and taking down the Vehicons, she smiled as she saw Optimus coming towards her.

"McKayla!"

"Optimus!" he saw her, and looked so confused but came towed her, he knelt down and saw energon pouring from her like a waterfall.

He looked at her and saw her optics flickering, he put his hand out to touch her but hesitated.

"McKayla?" Optimus asked,

"Hey Optimus". She smiled and touched his face, she then slowly started to close her eyes.

"Mckayla!" Optimus yelled grabbing her and carrying her.

"Fall back!" Optimus yelled as they all ran out, Vehicons chased them, but they made it to the bridge and the bridge closed just in time.
