Feelings and Movies

For the past 4 months, McKayla has lived at the base and had truly become a member of the family. She left her old apartment and made a home in the base, she had her own room, old pipes were found under the base so she had her own shower and water.

Cooking was easy, all she had to do was have one of the Autobots use their canon heat to start a fire up in her mini stove, and food was close by, so she and Optimus went on grocery runs when he was available.

As for being a Senior in high school, she could only be there for a few hours and then leave but she loved school well love and hated it, but hey last year got to enjoy it right?

Her car was totaled but luckly being friends with Autobots her car was saved and now she could drive again, if Optimus was busy and couldn't pick her up or she had to make a quick trip to the store.

As for her feelings for Optimus, it only grew and grew, she wanted to tell him her feelings every day and night, but always changed her mind last minute.

Her blushing was increasing and the way she acted around him often lead her to tripping over something or stuttering, Optimus Prime didn't understand why she was acting this way, but he didn't have any concern so he just shrugged it off.

One day, Arcee and Jack went on patrol, Bulkhead and Miko went to a monster truck rally, and Bumblebee and Raph went to go racing outside of town, so it was just McKayla, Ratchet and Optimus.

There hasn't been any Decepticon activity since the day they were attacked, so things were pretty boring except when the Autobots found Energon mines which were awesome, so McKayla thought of something, smiled and went to Optimus.

"Optimus?" She asked quietly as he and Ratchet were talking,

"McKayla hello". Optimus smiled and Ratchet mumbled something,

"I have a question". She responded.

"What is your question?" Optimus asked.

"Um there's a movie playing tonight and I don't have anybody to go with and I was thinking since you guys just got your holoforms, maybe you could test it out to experience an human activity... with me?"

She asked hoping that it made some sort of sense and the fact she didn't stutter made her feel even more better

Optimus pondered for a minute then replied "Very well, I will go to this movie with you, I think it will be great experience for me to understand human entertainment".

"Great!! I'll be in my room getting ready I'll be done in 30 minutes". She smiled and ran to her room

She screamed silently in her head and hurried to her closet, she found her pink spaghetti strap tank top, ripped shorts, a white sweater and her pink shoes, she rushed and put some foundation to get rid of the oily spots, some mascara, and light lipstick, she put a headband in her long brown hair and quickly ran to her door.

She opened the door and ran into a hard chest, she fell and was on top of a body, she looked up and saw that she was face to face with a man, she quickly got up.

"I am so sorry, I am so sorry, I am so sorry".

She kept repeating, she helped him up and tried to hide her face from embarrassment.

"No don't be! It is my fault I didn't knock fast enough".

Recognising the voice, she looked up and gasped, it was Optimus, but as a human, he looked to be about in his late 20's, he had brown short hair with a tint of blue, he was wearing a red sweater with white stripes on the sleeves, and a Autobot insignia on the shoulder, he had blue jeans and brown shoes, and had slightly glowing blue eyes with small wrinkles.

She smiled, "Wow Optimus! You look... amazing!" McKayla exclaimed

Optimus smiled and his face turned a slight blue, "Thank you McKayla! And you look... what do boys call girls? Beautiful?"

She beamed "T-t-thank you".

They went to a drive-in theater, to watch Howls Moving Castle, Optimus was quiet most of the time and seemed confused, McKayla wasn't sure what he was thinking and just kept watching. She laughed at the parts she thought were funny and awed at the parts she thought were cute.

After the movie, Optimus and McKayla went to a hill to watch the sunset, she explained things about the movie he didn't understand and was eating popcorn that was left over and gave some to Optimus.

"Just chew with your teeth". She opened her mouth to show her teeth, "And then swallow!" She smiled

She put some more in her mouth to demonstrate, Optimus nodded and copied her and actually ate the whole thing.

"So what did you think of the movie?" She asked after a long pause

"It was very interesting, lots of war". Optimus said sadly

"Oh shoot I am so sorry, I wasn't thinking". McKayla punching herself mentally. *You made Optimus upset! You know, he's been in a war for like 9 million years and was still fighting!*

"No it's fine, it was a good movie and the romance? Between Howl and Sophie, you seemed to like a lot".

Mckayla felt a bit of relief but then she started to feel awkward

"Oh ya you know, it's a girl's dream to meet the love of her life". She blushed slightly

"Have you met this love of your life?" Optimus asked

She blushed even more, "Um well.. I think I have but it would be impossible to be with him".

"Because he is fictional?" Optimus asked having learned recently about fictional characters and crushes

She laughed out loud and replied "No no no no, it's just we are different and it wouldn't work".

Optimus thought for a long time, trying to put the pieces together,

"McKayla?"

"Yes?"

"Why do you turn red and act strangely around me?"

She turned even more red and stuttered "Um... well... uh".

"McKayla, with all this information I have learned about your kinds way of showing affection and how people have feelings toward with each other and the signs of having theses feelings.... I"-

McKayla looked at him straight in the eyes and he looked back turning more blue and her turning more red

"McKayla Swan do you have feelings for me?"

She sighed and then smiled "Yes".

Optimus's face was bright blue as he leaned towards her, their lips almost touching, she leaned back slightly feeling chills all over her body.

"Then I have feelings for you too". He whispered

McKayla gasped quietly, Optimus leaned in more and put his lips against hers, after a moment she kissed back and wrapped her arms around his neck, and Optimus wrapped his arms around her waist. McKayla felt relief flow through her whole body and felt like she was floating on air.
