Chapter 8: Amie's Graduation

I breath in deeply as I get prepared to go on stage and sing the song I was asked to singing for our graduation.

"Your going to do great baby your the best singer ever remember that...your gonna knock'em dead" Dani encourages me and gave me her award winning smile calming me down, making me feel more confident then ever 

"Your right I know you are just last minute jitters" I tell her with a thankful smile plastered on my face which she returned it 

"Okay now everyone before we start giving out diploma's we wanted to give you all a little going away song. So here to sing for us is our very own star singer, besides my granddaughter, Amie Loring" Mrs.Goldman-Hall anounced  

"It's time now go get them you sexy human being" she says making me chuckle before doing as told and going on the stage 

"Hi everyone" I say as soon as I was hand the mic " I will be sing a million dreams by p!nk to commemorate this special day" I made known to everyone before beginning to sing 

" I close my eyes and I can see a world that's waiting up for me that I call my own; Through the dark, through the door through where no one's been before; But it feels like home." I took a deep breath then continued 

" They can say, they can say it all sounds crazy; they can say, they can say I've lost my mind; I don't care, I don't care, if they call me crazy; We can live in a world that we design." I couldn't help but think of all the dreams Dani and I have thought up of as well as the life we've talked about

" 'cause every night, I lie in bed; The brightest colors fill my head; A million dreams are keeping me awake; I think of what the world could be; A vision of the one I see; A million dreams is all its gonna take; Oh, a million dreams for the world we're gonna make" Visions of my future with Dani came to my had causing the smile already on face to grow more 

"There's a house we can build; Every room inside filled with things from far away; special things I compile; Each one there to make you smile on a rainy day" I thought of the talks Dani and I had of getting our own place together one day

My family and Dani's family all were together right now celebrating my graduation. I could not have been happier then I was right now seeing everyone getting along very well with one another.

" then Amie came running out with her reading glasses half way off her face with panicked look in her eye...then when she realized it was still sunday she screamed out in frustration. It was hilarious.." I glared at my Jack and he put up his hands in surrender

"Okay enough of making fun of Amie" Dani steps in and I smiled happily at that 

"Thank you babe" I say and pecked her lips

"Okay who wants cake?"...
