Before Forever [Book 1]

Chapter 2: Study

My alarm rang out at 9:45am reminding me to get up and get ready to head to Dani's place so that we could study

As I got ready I couldn't help but thing of last nights events

It was so fun hanging out with her and having dinner with her. I don't think I have ever laughed and had so much fun in my whole 17 years of life.

When I finished getting dressed I grabbed my bag that held my note book and pencils before leaving to Dani's.

I parked my car in the parking lot of Dani's house and grabbed my things then head to the door, knocking on it.

"Coming!" I heard her sweet voice yell from inside

A few minutes later the door opened to reveal a tall, slim, tan woman with green eyes and blacked rimmed glasses the same I had hangout with yesterday

"Hey" I said to her with a shy smile and she smiled back at me

"Come on in!" she said to me with happiness shining in her eyes and I did as told

As she shut the door behind us I took a look around and was at aww with place

"This place is amazing" I say to her as I turn around to see her eyeing my whole body making me blush "Dani"

"hmm..what?" she says her green eyes snapping up to meet my brown one's

"I said your house is amazing" I repeated to her and she smiled

"Thank you...now should we get started?" she says pointing to a table that had study material set up

"I guess we should..ugh! studying..." I whined as we headed to her table

"I know but just remember you pass the test you are one more step closer to your drea. to be a singer" She encourages me and I smiled at her

"Yeah your right...ever thought about being a life coach?" I jokingly asked and she chuckled

"Real funny now...let's get to work so we can get to the part where we can actually talk without being worried about not passing our big tests" she tell me and I nodded

"Okay let's do this"

...

We had both helped each other study for a while before taking a much needed break

"Would you like roast beef and ham sandwich with avocado and mayo on it?" she asked me and I nodded my head immediately

"You had me at roast beef" I joked and she chuckled "Let me help"

"No no your my guest I'll do it" She said stubbornly and I shook my head

"Nope I'm helping you and that's it" I say firmly and follow her to her kitchen

"Okay okay you can help" She says and I smile in victory

She got out the ingredients and I began making my sandwich while she made hers

As  I was about put the mayo on my roast beef my nose was attacked with it by none other than Dani

"Dani!" I squealed "What was that for?"

"For not letting me make you a sandwhich" She said sticking her tongue out at me and I smirked

"You better run" I said as I grabbed some mayo on my finger and began running after her as we both giggle

After a while playing chase we eventually sat down to eat together after clean up our mess we made

"Now that was the most fun I've had in a while" Dani took the word right out my mouth

"Same here" I tell her and we both smile at one another

"umm...Amie?" She says to me nervously making me worry cause eso far it seemed she was a very confident woman

"Yes? everything alright?" I asked her and she smiled at me nervously

"Yeah yeah its just I know that you may think this weird you know I'm twenty-seven your seventeen but...um would you like to um..go on a date with me?" she struggled to get out and my mouth dropped open in shock

she wanted to go out with me...this woman who was way out of my league wanted to go on a date with me

"I..uh...yeah why not?" I said and she let out a breath

"I though you were gonna say no with how long you took" she said to me and I shook my head

"I'd have to be crazy not to say yes to such an intelligent and gorgeous woman such as you" I say truthfully to her making her blush

"Thank you Amie your such a sweetheart that one of the many reason I asked you out" she says to me and I smiled with blush now covering my face

"So when are we going on this date?" I inquired and she smiled

"How about Saturday so that way we have had finished our tests and we don't have school so no need to stress" she says to me and I nodded my head

"That works for me" I said before looking at the time

"Damn I got to get home I have school tomorrow" I say to her and she nods her head

we both stood up neither us want nether of us wanting me to leave

"I can't wait for Saturday" She says to smiling in excitement

"Same here" I say to her before being pulled into a hug

"Drive safe!" She says kissing my cheek before we both parted ways
