Chapter 10: Proposal

*December 2023*

I came home from school and but my bag down, spotted a red envelope with my name on it. I walked over to the table abd picked up the envelope up then opened it up.

The reader said and I couldn't help but smile at how cheese she was but I also felt confused on why she wanted to met at the library

I hurried to get dress out of my school clothes and into my outer wear, my big coat and boots because of the December weather, before heading to the library.

I entered the library that seemed to be empty for a week day but just shrugged it off before heading toward the anatomy section where Dani and I first met

As I reached the section I saw Dani there looking as beautiful as ever with a nervous smile on her face like she had the first time she had asked me out

"Hey is everything okay?" I asked her as soon as I was closer to her

"Yeah I'm great...but I have something to tell you" She says now making me nervous

"Okay go ahead" I encouraged her to speak and she got her knee making me cover my mouth

"This library, this section is where shoulder bumped, brown eyes meet green eyes and hearts connected....it's where I met you...I want you forever, forever and always through the good and the bad and the ugly we will grow together forever and always... Will you marry me?" She proposed and happy tears slide down my face

I nodded my head unable to speak after all that she had just said I pulled her up and kissed her passionately but it didn't last to long cause I heard clapping behind us making me turn around to see both our families surrounding us with smiles on there faces

"Congratulations!!" Everyone said in unison and I turn back to my breath taking fiancée

"I love you forever and always too" I said and pecked her lips before a realization hit me "I thought you wanted to wait till you got the job at the hospital?" I asked her a bit concerned about her future plans and she smiled widely at me

"Well..." she pulled out some
ething from her purse "I got the job!" She says showing me her hospital ID

"Oh my gosh congradulations babe!!!" I say and hug her tightly before giving her another kiss

"Thank you...now can we celebrate our engagement?" She asked and I nodded my head

"Yes, yes we can" I said and we all decide to go to Applebee's to eat

We all sat around the table with smiles on our faces

"So how long did you have this planned?" I questioned Dani and she smiled shyly

"A month" She confesses and my mouth dropped "Yeah suprised you didn't find out sooner with those detective skills you got going on"

"I suspected something just not...well this" I tell her truthfully and she smiled in satisfaction

"I'm glad then it have totally ruined my romantic gesture" She says proudly and I slapped her arm gentle

"Shush you smart pants" I joked with her and she smiled lovingly at me

"I love you forever and always" She says and I smiled more

"I love you forever and always too" I say back

"Okay soI was thinking we through the wedding in the backyard of Viv and I's place?" Callie says and I nod my head

"If Viv is okay with it then I am" I say and Vivian nodded her head

"You know I'm totally cool with it your one of great friends" Vivian says patting on the back

Yep Vivian have become best buddies after spending so much time together while the sisters were out doing there what they call "Sibling things"

"Thank you Viv" I thanked her and Dani smiled

"Great we already have a venue and we just got engaged!" Dani says happily

"Now let's talk about brides maids, oh wait no how about grooms man....or how about the food...or...or-" Cathy started to plan Dani and I's wedding out as everyone else at their dinner...
