Chapter 11: Dani's P.O.V

Danielle's P.O.V [Song: The One That Got Away by Katy Perry]

My 36 hour shift finally had end, my eye dropped down low as I let out a yawn

I entered my car and took a minute to prepare for the 30 minute ride home from the hospital. After a couple of minutes I turned the car on and backed out of my parking spot then head in the direction of home.

As I drove down the road I could feel my eye lids begin to shut and I tried to keep them open but exhaustion was slowly getting the best of me. As I kept trying to keep my eyes open I could feel my car begin to curve waking me up fully but not in time before I could react I saw head lights then heard a honk

"Beeeepppp!"...

"Beep...Beep...Beep" I heard a heart monitor as I tried to open my eyes

I could feel a sharp pain through out my body right before a doctor came in to check on me

"A-amie" I called out for my fiancée while trying to get up but I couldn't move my body just wouldn't move

"Don't worry ma'am she is on her way my nurse called her" My doctor informs me and right then Amie walked in with a neutral expression on her face but a anxious look in her chocolate brown eyes

"Hey there baby" I managed to get out

"Hi babe" She says grabbing a hold of my hand in hers

"You remember the conversation we had last night about having a big mansion on a hill side that we'd stay forever and two kids, boy and a girl that we raise there" I tried to talk about our future

"Yea I do" She says with a sad smile on her face

"Well can we name our daughter Evie...I've always loved that name." I say to her and she smiled holding my hand tighter but not enough to hurt me "We can grow old there in the manison it'll be the best life ever whether right or for poor"

"Yes baby forever and always whatever you want" She says to me and kisses my cheek before she gets this look in her eye after looking at my monitor

"What are you think?" I asked and felt a pain shot up my spine but I ignored it for Amie and my family who had just enter the room

"One sec babe" She says and call in a nurse then whispers something in her ear while my mom came over with my dad to say some encouraging words that I couldn't quite here at the moment since the pain had just worsened

After a few minute a nurse brought a Chaplin as well as, some pain medicine that numbed my body, and I knew just what she was think right away

"R-right n-now?" I stuttered out as Amie went to my side and I gave her a reassuring smile

She gave a thumbs up to the Chaplin and he read a couple verses then a couple from next door gave us their rings. We all laughed with sad tears in our eyes at all that was going on right now, you know us doing this in a hospital with me barely hanging on.

" I want you forever and always, Through the good and the bad and the ugly. We will grow together and always remember wather happy or sad or whatever we will still love each other forever and always" as she finishes her vows I feel myself start to fade away so hard to get out what I need to say

"I love you forever, forever and always. Please just remember even if I'm no there i'll aways love you forever and always"...
