Chapter Six

note: my deepest apologies before you read this chapter. this is a filler I guess and I figured y'all deserved some "smut" if you can even qualify this as smut ajjajsjs I mostly cringed my way through writing it (as melon has seen) and it's really bad so im sorry for this chapter.

Aria was told she'd have to spend the night in the hospital until her hydration levels were regulated to where she wouldn't unexpectedly faint again.

Everything she and Ezra were told that day felt so surreal. Pregnant. Aria thought she'd never hear that word in a positive way again, but here she was.

She turned her head to see Ezra lying down, nearly falling asleep. After all that happened that day, one of them deserved to get some sleep. Aria was too overjoyed to be the one to get some sleep. Sitting there in the dark hospital room with only moonlight from outside providing any sort of brightness in the room, Aria began to think about the day her and Ezra's little miracle made its first appearance in the world.

With all that comes with raising a child and having a demanding boss, Ezra and Aria rarely had time for themselves anymore. They loved being parents and being able to do what they enjoyed, but they still wanted that time to be themselves again. The most romantic thing they had done in the past few weeks was offer to change a diaper or let the other one sleep when Katherine would scream and cry at 3:27 am. Every now and then there'd be a brief moment where their lips could get reacquainted, but that usually didn't last long before Katherine would demand attention of some kind.

Ella and Byron knew what it was like to raise a child so they offered to take Katherine once every few weeks to give Ezra and Aria some time for themselves. That one day was very much appreciated. It was very fulfilling to raise a child, but they needed that alone time every once in a while.

After eating a meal without being interrupted by a screeching baby, Ezra and Aria decided to do once of their favorite activities together. Eating pie and watching old black and white movies was the epitome of romance when it came to those two and doing it for the first time in what seemed like forever made it even more special.

While watching a movie, a thought occurred to Aria. This was the first time in a long time she and Ezra were really alone... why not take advantage of that? Most of the time, they were way too tired to engage in any kind of fun or pleasure with each other. Most days without Katherine would end with a nice long nap. Today was a different story.

She reached over to grab the remote and turned off the television. Confused, Ezra asked "What's going on?"

Aria scooted closer to Ezra as she said "Well we have the apartment to ourselves for the first time in a long time and I was thinking we could do... something... upstairs..."

Ezra raised his eyebrows as he understood what Aria was saying immediately. He was more than happy to oblige but wanted to make sure Aria wanted to as well. "Mrs. Fitz, that is quite the offer," he said, letting out a small chuckle.

They both took a good look at each other before Aria quickly and swiftly dove right into his lips. Ezra's hands rubbed up and down Aria's back and slid down her thighs. Aria moved over and straddled Ezra. This reminded Aria of that time a few years ago when the same thing happened on that very couch. The only difference was that there were no secrets this time.

Minutes later, Ezra started to get up and try to get them to their destined location which was upstairs. All of his attention was on Aria so he knew this would be tough. Ezra changed his focus from Aria's lips to Aria's neck. He knew she loved it when he did that. A small sound came out of her mouth as his lips landed on her smooth skin.

Ezra was so focused on Aria's neck that he had no clue where he was leading them. He bumped into a familiar spot and turned around to place Aria on the counter. This brought back more memories for the two of them. Ezra stayed right below Aria's right ear lobe until his mouth felt sore. Desperate to feel the warmth of his skin, Aria ripped Ezra's shirt off as soon as he pulled off of her neck. She left soft kisses across his shoulders before Ezra decided to unbutton Aria's shirt and feel her warm, smooth skin. They stayed there in each other's embrace for a few minutes. Ezra's hands had been going all over Aria and her warm, soft body. His hands swiftly trailed down Aria's back and went to her thighs to pick her up and take her to their destination.

It was difficult to navigate the both of them in the right direction with both Ezra and Aria being so focused on each other. Once Ezra found the stairs, he turned Aria to the wall and pinned her against it. Aria let out a quiet moan as Ezra's lips moved from her lips to the spot above her collarbone. He stayed there which led to more sounds coming from Aria's mouth which only made Ezra stay there longer.

They slowly moved up one step at a time and eventually found their way to their bedroom. Upon walking in, Aria's hand searched for the door and slammed it. Ezra pinned her against the door where Aria now began fiddling with Ezra's belt buckle. She was so lost in the sensation of his lips on hers and his tongue grazing across hers that it took her a few minutes before she finally unbuckled his belt. Ezra turned them around and started making his way to their bed in the center of the room.

Ezra slowly laid Aria down in the middle of the bed and left kisses down her body. Each kiss felt like fire against her skin. As he got lower, Aria's breathing staggered with excitement. It had been a while since they had the chance to do this so there was a great sense of longing between the two. Aria's quick breaths felt like music to Ezra's ears. Minutes passed and more clothes were shed. Aria climbed on top of Ezra and began leaving kisses down his chest, heading lower and lower...

Aria snapped out of her thoughts when she heard a small laugh come from Ezra. The smile she's had since all this had happened grew as she looked at Ezra. All this happiness and excitement was building up in Aria and she couldn't wait to share the good news. The question is, how will she tell everyone?
