~ 3 Weeks Later ~
(Luna's POV)
Three weeks later, and I still can't believe that it was all... a test. I could never tell if Slade was lying or not because... he didn't have a heart. To pulse would thump. This morning I got my very first mission. The mission was to take the first of three viles. This was in my simulation test in the wild beginning. I headed over to the entrance to get my details with Slade. Once I was there, I was at the bottom of the steps to his chair. He greeted me as I gestured a small bow.
"Sir."
"Ah, my dear Luna. Come here, I won't bite." He gestured me to step closer, but not onto the steps.
"Today, you will receive your first mission," He started. "But, you will not go like that. You have to put on a uniform."
"Okay..." I answered.
Slade threw me a sack, which was surprisingly heavy.
"After you get dressed, you may go," he ordered. "My plan rests on your shoulders."
I nodded and left the room to change.
I put on my uniform which was mostly full of armor. I realized that my 'pants' was actually a skirt as the assistant helped me dress. I pulled the long boots up, and I noticed the outline of wings around the boot. I realized the back of my lightweight armor had wing holes to fit. I tightened the gloves around my hand and adjusted some uncomfortable areas.
"Oy Vey..." I mumbled as I did a few finishing touches. I'm glad I'm blind, because I don't want to see how ridiculous I look. I adjusted my skirt once again, until my hand brushed something. I found out it was an empty sword holder.
"Well this is a shame. A sword holder with no sword," I shook my head.
"This will never do. I'll just have to fix it."
I shifted my hands, and felt a cold crackling sound. Soon, a cold sword was filled in my hand.
"That is a very nice touch, mistress," my assistant marveled.
"Thank you. Now if you will excuse me," I paused to put my sword away. "I have a vile to steal."
