(Starfire's POV)
"Robin!" I screamed.
I just barley saved him. Barely.

I was injured. It frightened me.
"Titans, go!" Cyborg shouted. We all charged. Slade was not prepared for this attack. I shot him multiple times with my starbolts. I was not happy with him. He attacks Robin and ruined Luna's life.
That reminds me... where is Luna?

(Robin's POV)
They came... I sat up and took a sigh of relief. They do really care.
Slade, dodging as much as he could, raced to a corner.
"Stand back!" He shouted. "If you take another step, I'll press this button!"
He pulled out a button.
Beast boy shifted back into his human self.
"Oh yeah? What are you going to do with that button? Throw it at us?"
All the lights turned on, destroying the dimness of the room, that revealed something.
Where Luna was 'floating' was actually where the machine was to extract her powers.
"You had to ask, didn't you?" Raven snapped.
Beast boy nervously chuckled.
"Oops?"
Slade looked like he was really going to press it.
I didn't hesitate to throw a birdarang at him. He saw it in mid-flight, and pressed down on the single button.
A loud cracking sound filled the room, as the machine started up.
If Luna was knocked out, or asleep, this definitely woke her up.
Her one unswollen eye opened up wide as she screamed and withered in pain, unable to escape.
"Stop!" I shouted.
Luna groaned as more shockwaves pulsed through. The bar meter slowly rose.
"P-P-Ple...ase..." she gasped out. "S-St...op..."
Raven, using her dark magic, grabbed Slade.
"Turn off the machine!" She demanded.
All Slade did was chuckle.
"Once turned on, there is not turning off without a sacrifice."
I dropped to my knees. Raven threw Slade to a wall with almost all her force. She held him back, her eyes like daggers.
Starfire flew next to Luna, risking herself, and unhooked Luna.
As she dropped to the ground, I outstretched my arms, and messily caught her. I looked down to see her fully conscious.
"You couldn't have... caught me any sloppier?" She groaned.
I almost laughed. I really missed her sarcasm. We both tightly hugged one another. This time, she didn't try to choke me.
"I remember everything," she whispered. "I'm sorry for almost killing you."
I tightened my embrace.
"I'll be alright," I answered. "None of that matters."
A small chuckle interrupted us.
"You haven't won yet, Robin," Slade said, still in Raven's grip. "The generator is fully functional and is about to start its first tremor. Tick Tock."
Raven pressed Slade harder against the wall.
"Stop the machine," she demanded. "Now!"
He shook his head, calm under all the pressure.
"Once started, it cannot be stopped."
Luna shifted in my arms.
"I-I... can stop it," she said. "But..."
Raven's eyes darkened.
"You'll know the consequences for doing that, don't you?" She said, pulling her hood down with her open hand.
Luna bit her lip.
"Yes..."
I looked at Raven, then to Luna.
"What... do you have to do?" I asked.
For once, Luna's eyes had some emotion to it. Sadness. The same eyes that showed when her sister died.
"I have to shut it down from the inside," she started. "My powers and the electricity is unstable. I... may not come out."
Those words echoed in my ears. It was like a death sentence. I gripped her arms tightly.
"No," I shook my head, unbelieving. "No, no, no, no."
I was almost like a record. I couldn't stop saying no.
Luna sat up.
"It's my powers, and my responsibility. I have to do this..."
I pulled her down.
"You're too sacrificing!" I said.
Luna shook her head.
"Either we can get out of here, and put the city and the world itself in danger, or let me save you all," her voice rose. "I will fight you myself Robin."
