(Robin's POV)
I watched helplessly as the ship crashed to the ground. Debris flew everywhere, as I dodged a flaming piece of the ship. I closed my eyes.
"Oh, no..." Gasped Starfire.
After we landed to the ground, I charged towards the ship. A grip on my shoulder pulled me back. Raven looked me in the eyes and shook her head, as Beast boy put his hand on her shoulder. I realized everything. She's gone. Then, I noticed a figure coming out of he burning debris. The figure was covered in metal from head to toe. The figure come close to us, coughed, and pushed down their hands. It revealed, Luna. She was covered in ash and smelled like smoke.
"Geez, you really don't have any faith in me, do you?" She said smiling.
There was a great wave of relief coming over the whole crew. She came next to me and smack the side of my head.
"Ow!"
"That's for not showing me where the eject button was at, you idiot."
She brushed off most of the ashes, with her hair sticking up in odd places.
"Don't just stand there! Let's go, we have to find the distress signal." She ordered.
We all nodded and started walking. About thirty minutes later, all our cheeks were red. We trudged along, every so often we would stop to take a break. We were hitting our limit point here. We were all dehydrated from the lack of water. I stopped again and said,
"Okay Titans, let's take another break."
They sighed, but Luna kept walking, running into Beast boy.
"Can't you watch where your-"
He started, but she cut him off it the answer of,
"No."
There was silence as he answered
"Right... sorry."
She rolled her eyes and plopped down onto the hot sand.
"Is there a way that you could tunnel us into a hole so we stay cool until night?" I asked.
Luna, still looking up, simply shook her head.
"No. Sand is extremely hard to bend and see. That's why I didn't want to be here. It lowers everything I have."
I nodded and understood. After a while it started to get dark and cool. Almost freezing. The moon shone bright as we walked along the sand. I looked up, and a single could covered the sky. I got an idea. Clouds held water, and Luna could bend water. Maybe someone could fly her up so she can get the water. I tapped on her shoulder.
"Yes?"
"Do you think you can bend the cloud water so we can get something to drink?"
She thought for a moment.
"I-I don't know. My back has been hurting for a while. But I can try."
I head over to Beast boy.
"Beast boy, do you think you could fly Luna up to that cloud so we can get water?"
He nodded and shifted into a pterodactyl and grabbed onto Luna's shoulders. She let out a startled cry at first then said,
"Don't do that without warning me!"
But, Beast boy got Luna to the sky, and soon enough her water bottle was filled with water. When they got back to the ground, Luna shook the bottle.
"It's water, but by judging the sound and weight there really isn't a whole lot. Maybe just a little for everyone."
Everyone sighed with relief.
"Shall we camp here for the night?" Starfire asked.
"It seems like a good idea, we need all our strength and energy before the sun comes up."
Beast boy groaned,
"Why do we have to get up so early?!"
Cyborg's voice went deep and almost eerie.
"We need to get out before the sun comes up. Or else we'll be dead before supper."
Luna looked down and bit her lip.
"We better get to sleep. The earlier the better." I said.
We all found a spot on the cool sand, and fell into a restless and sandy sleep.

I woke up a few hours later, to something tickling my nose. I wrinkled my nose and almost sneezed. I sat up and rubbed the sand off my face. The sun was just about to come up in the distance.
"Titans, it's time to get up. The sun is-" I cut off.
Luna was the first to get up. She shook off the sand. I couldn't help but stare at Luna.
"I can feel you staring at me. What is it?" She asked. I couldn't look away, almost mesmerized, I said,
"You... Ah.. You kinda..."
"I what?!"
"Luna, don't freak out. You have... Wings."
Her eyes widened, as she touched her back.
"Well... That explains the back aches..." She mumbles.
Her wings were large, that were a creamy white, and on the tips where a dark brown.
"Do they work?" I asked.
"Like I would know!" She says, sarcastically.
"What is with all the ruckus?" Starfire asked finally waking up.
"Yeah, could you be any-" Raven cut off. "You have wings. Well that's new."
Luna shook her head.
"You know, I was expecting this to happen."
"How?!" Beast boy asked, pushing through the feathers.
" I didn't tell you?!" She started, "I got my powers in a lab. More specifically, Slade's lab. Every 5 years I get a new power. I guess I'm getting wings."
Cyborg touched the large wings.
"You didn't get, you got the wings."
"Yeah... I guess I did." She said.
Raven sighed with a huff and asked,
"Can we go now? By the time you guys stop yammering, the sun will already be over us."
We stopped.
"Yeah, we should get going." I said.
We packed the rest of our things and head off further into the unknown.
