"Chanel now you got everything that you need for your dads this week" I said walking in her room
"Yes mom" She said packing her suitcase
"Good now hurry yo ass up because he is almost here too" I said crossing my arms
"Okay and mom like could I talk to you about something?" She said looking at me
I walked towards her bed to sit down then pointed to the spot next to me so she could sit down and open up to her mother about what's on her mind right now.
"What's wrong love?" I said looking at her
"Well before I say anything like you have to promise me that you will not tell anyone not even Keisha because she has a big mouth" She said smiling
I laughed and nodded my head.
"I promise baby now what's going on with you?" I said crossing my arms
"Well I have a friend who is a boy and we both kinda like each other but he has a bunch of females that are always over him at school. I honestly don't know how I feel about it and to make it worse like he also entertains them too" She said sighing
As I listened to her open up about how she truly feels now it reminds me so much of Bryson and I back in high school, to be honest.
"Listen mamas, if that boy really did like you then he would never be entertaining any other female now you don't need a boy to make you happy in life at all. My mom once told me if it's really meant to be then he will return back to you now if he doesn't then focus on you and don't let that crown fall love. Whenever he do realize what he had then don't let him treat you like shit now you know your worth and remember that you are and will always be that bitch.... one girl is worth a thousand bitches" I said looking at her
"Thanks mom like I really do appreciate you for always being there for me even when you are going through your own problems" She said hugging me
I am who I am today because of my beautiful kids and I will continue to go hard for them.
There was someone ringing the doorbell at the front door which was probably her father coming to pick her up for the week. Since we sat down to have a deep conversation about how we truly felt then that's when we both came to a conclusion that we should just be friends til the time is right for the both of us. It's like we are rushing each other to be in a relationship when god knows that we both aren't mature or ready for one at all.
At the moment, we are just focusing on ourselves and the kids til we actually get our life together and can finally act mature and shit.
As I walked down the stairs to head towards the door then I opened it to be welcome to Bryson and India in his arm which I grabbed her to start talking to her while leaving Bryson in the doorway looking dumb.
"Well damn just take my damn daughter from me and shit" He said shaking his head
"Boy shut up and close my damn door but Nene should be down here in a few" I said playing with Dia
As I said that then Nene came out of her bedroom with her bags and started walking down the stairs towards the living room where we were currently at right now.
"I am ready dad" Chanel said smiling
Bryson turned around now I noticed that his body and face expression changed quickly which I was wondering what the reason was then that's when I looked at Chanel to notice that she had a lil makeup on.
"Um lil girl now what the fuck is on yo damn face, Chanel?" Bryson said looking at her
"Dad, it's just makeup like duh" She said laughing
"Like duh and take yo ass back up to yo fucking room and clean that shit off yo face" He said shaking his head
I chuckled and shook my head at him.
"You was going to let me fucking daughter look like a clown, Liyah?" He said looking at me
"Bryson.... she looks fine to me now if we are being honest then Nene looks like a whole baddie like her fine ass mama" I said smiling
"THANK YOU MOM" She said smirking
"She ain't gon be looking like a baddie with your ugly ass now Chanel take it off before I have to beat yo fucking ass right now" Bryson said shaking his head
"If you don't leave that girl alone and let her be like damn nigga" I said laughing
Bryson closed his head while leaning his head back onto the couch and began counting.
"You, yo sister and mother are going to be the death of me like I can already fucking see that shit right now" Bryson said walking away
India started laughing at her dad.
I got up with India on my hip as Chanel grabbed her bags that she was going to take with her to her dad house for the week. That's when Bryson came back over shaking his head while grabbing Chanel bags and walking out the house towards his car as we were following him. As Bryson was putting her bags in the truck and I was buckling up India in her car seat.
"Bye lovebug" I said kissing Dia
She giggled showing her one little teeth.
As I walked towards Nene who was sitting in the passenger seat on her phone then she finally rolled her window down looking at me and I rubbed her face like this girl is literally my world.
"Have fun mamas now don't kill your father please and remember what I told you too like I love you" I said smiling
"I won't but maybe I will try to kill him and I love you more mom" She said smiling
"Take care of my girls now Bryson" I said looking at him
"Aaliyah.... you act like I don't take care of them like I got that thing on me so we are good mamas and tell yo mom bye girls" He said smirking
I shook my head at him while India and Nene both waved at me which made me start smiling and also waved back at them. I watched as they drove out of the driveway til I couldn't see them anymore then I walked back into the house and locked the door behind me.
As Eric Bellinger would say need me a queen with a crown, just call when you need me...
